To think that there are too many personal insults and attacks on Tory voters

I’m really sick of it now. I don’t log on here to be called a cunt, told I hate disabled people and want to ruin the NHS.

I’m interested as to whether others feel the same or if it is just me. If it’s just me, I think I’ll piss off.

Again, never claimed that Corbyn was a saint (note i said some was justifiable) but then Boris claimed there were no cameras at a hospital

Boris was a rubbish mayor of London and a terrible foreign secretary.

BertrandRussell · 28/12/2019 16:22

Johnson told many provable lies during the campaign. Corbyn didn’t. Simple as that.

Oh you joker! Corbyn was telling us that his manifesto was “fully costed”, then pulled an uncosted 58 billion pound WASPI bribe out of his arse a few days later! Grin

malylis · 28/12/2019 16:31

Except the Waspi thing wasn't in the manifesto, so it actually was costed.

CendrillonSings · 28/12/2019 16:35

Except the Waspi thing wasn't in the manifesto, so it actually was costed.

That’s what we call “a distinction without a difference”.

He also claimed that he was honouring the result of the EU referendum by offering a second referendum with a choice of either Remain or, er, Remain.

60 Labour seats decided he was lying! Grin

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 28/12/2019 17:00

Wasnt it 80% lies in the tory campaign and 0% in labour...apparently

Ds2 came up with a lie labour told though...aprt from that stupid queens speech one

Cant remember what it was though...I’ll see if he remembers

ReadtheSmallPrint · 28/12/2019 17:26

Labour’s definition of the ‘average’ family was somewhat interesting.

I saw an interview with McDonut where he was questioned about these claims. Some analysis had been done to show that this ‘average’ family was represented by about 2500 households.

Fortunately, most people aren’t stupid enough to believe this anyway.

It’s what we call a fact where I come from. Inconvenient though it might be.

bingbangbing · 28/12/2019 20:10

@ReadtheSmallPrint

I think you may have confused mean with mode 😎

CendrillonSings · 28/12/2019 21:13

So promising 58 billion pounds of uncosted bribes is OK as long as it’s not in the manifesto? How stupid did Labour think we are?

malylis · 28/12/2019 21:17

But claiming the manifesto wasn't costed was inaccurate.

How many of the Tories pledges were accurate or costed?

Alsohuman · 28/12/2019 21:20

How many of the Tories pledges were accurate or costed?

None were costed and the manifesto is irrelevant anyway because they’ll do whatever they want with complete impunity because there’s no opposition to stop them.

BingoLittlesUncle · 28/12/2019 21:32

Nothing so intolerant as a left-winger on the moral high ground.

zerofeeling · 28/12/2019 21:45

Fortunately, most people aren’t stupid enough to believe this anyway

But they are stupid enough to believe the Tories can be trusted to 'do' Brexit and sort out the country despite lying and distorting throughout the election campaign.

'People' really are stupid and selfish

derxa · 28/12/2019 21:48

'People' expect politicians to lie and Boris is the most amusing liar.

midnightmisssuki · 28/12/2019 21:50

On mumsnet? It’s a very left wing site though....

malylis · 28/12/2019 21:58

mn is so left wing it had far many more labour bashing threads than tory.

CendrillonSings · 28/12/2019 22:23

mn is so left wing it had far many more labour bashing threads than tory.

There were plenty of Tory-bashing threads. An incredibly high number in fact, given that Labour were on their way to a historic defeat.

malylis · 28/12/2019 22:24

Many more Corbyn and Labour bashing threads, for a lot longer.

zerofeeling · 28/12/2019 22:25

'People' expect politicians to lie and Boris is the most amusing liar.

So that's why 'people' voted Tory, because they knew they were lying and found it amusing. Not because they wanted Boris to Do Brexit or because they believed they would run the country effectively and look after the people.

Therefore, 'people' really are that stupid.

@shatteredmama Lol pathetic come back. Not a Tory voter and prob won't be but you people are laughable.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 28/12/2019 23:55

Sorry but I disagree, Mabutterface. Like it or not @shatteredmama does have a point.
She's 100% correct you won. Whoop dee doo. At least another 5 more years of suffering for the vulnerable. What more do you Tories want.
Labour voters may be bad losers but you lot are very bad winners

CendrillonSings · 29/12/2019 01:02

I suppose when you’ve got 5 more years out of power and 124 seats to win if you ever want to get back there, a spot of pointless whining will at least help pass the time... Grin

MaButterface · 29/12/2019 01:06

Thing is its comment like cunts, blah bah that makes you Labour lot sound as nasty or even nastier than the Tories. So we ahead if you want to turn people off Labour. I think its idiotic, and when you said I'm a bad winner. I didnt vote for the Tories. I just dislike Labour more than the Tories for being the new nasty party. I think the Tories triumph is the case of the lesser evil. No one I know likes Boris. No one.
