To ask for a way to irritate woman parking in my spot?

Background, I live in a flat above a shop. My flat has it's own parking spot that I pay for. Despite this a entitled prick of a woman lady keeps parking in my spot. She has been told many times not to, but continues to do so. She understands it is private parking but doesn't care and says "I'm just leaving" or "I wont be long"

So, help me think if a suitably irritating thing I can do to her next time it happens? Nothing illegal obviously. Perhaps upending a nearby recycling bin all over her car

What can I do to teach her a lesson seeing as she clearly gives no fucks about what shes doing Wink

(Cant be bothered with putting up a penguin bollard, also cant block her in as it would mean I would be blocking a road to do so. Just something that would annoy her...)

OP posts:

Get some fake parking tickets & plaster her windscreen with them or a very large notice saying unauthorised parking on it, embarrass her to move.

PickleChipsareyummy · 22/12/2019 22:33

Runny honey on the door handles and windscreen. Then stand back and watch.

Nat6999 · 22/12/2019 22:34

Cover the roof of her car in bird food, before long her car will be covered in bird crap.

SweetMarmalade · 22/12/2019 22:39

OP CANNOT block CF parking woman in as she would be blocking the road, as mentioned very early on in the thread! This would be the ideal scenario!

2020BetterBeBetter · 22/12/2019 22:39

I know you don’t want to but I think the bollard is your only option. Anything else just leaves you open to retaliation and she knows exactly where you park your car.

Freshnewus · 22/12/2019 22:41

When she is parked up. Put some pins (or something more have duty!) behind her tyres.

When she reverses out of the space, she will pop her tyres 😆

You haven't touched her vehicle, so can't be accused of any criminal damage.

CantSleepWontSleep19 · 22/12/2019 22:45

Install an unlockable bollard xx only you have the key

teentree · 22/12/2019 22:47

Cant be bothered with putting up a penguin bollard,

Not willing to help yourself OP Hmm

jessyjo2 · 22/12/2019 22:56

If possible, block her in. You didn't have any option as u had no parking space!!!

lisag1969 · 22/12/2019 22:57

Get a sign put on the wall unauthorised Parker's will be clamped.
Also if she parks in there call the clampers. Otherwise buy your own clamp and clamp her. Don't take it off until the following day. X

lisag1969 · 22/12/2019 22:59

Or get a bollard installed, only you will have the key. X

LizB62A · 22/12/2019 23:03

Sprinkle bird seed or bread on her car?

Get a cheap lipstick and write "DON'T PARK HERE" many, many times on her windscreen & windows?

Print off a sign saying "This isn't my parking space but I think I'm better than everyone else so I park here anyway" and glue it to her windows - all of them

Lovely13 · 22/12/2019 23:13

A local handy person to put a chain across drive seems simpler.

justilou1 · 22/12/2019 23:27

Brighten her day!!!

Do you have a window overlooking the parking space? Is just ‘accidentally drop’ an egg each time she parked there. In this weather hopefully it’ll freeze on.

PickleChipsareyummy · 23/12/2019 00:06

Dog shit on the running board also works. Haven’t done it myself but had it happen to a neighbour and he was furious. He deserves it though.

Good luck OP. It’s annoying when people think they can do this. Happy Christmas.

Nomorechickens · 23/12/2019 01:06

I like the Smash idea. But to be fair, put up a warning notice first - Danger of falling mashed potato in this area - then she can't say she hasn't been warned

FallenAngel01 · 23/12/2019 01:45

Do you have a parking permit, that proves you are the person able to park there? Be careful! Make sure you have proof of ability to park there, and that she doesn't. Do not let the air out of her tyres, et al. That's vandalism and a criminal offence. You need to have a signed agreement, showing you have proof of permission to park there. If it's a paid for parking bay, have proof of payments made for that parking bay. You will also need photographic evidence of the person violating your space. Timed and dated evidence would be useful.Take dated notes of everything. Keep copies of everything. You need to show proof. Signed, by both parties, proof. xx good luck x

karensusannabeaven · 23/12/2019 03:01

Sit on her car and refuse to move unless she never parks there again

MiniGuinness · 23/12/2019 03:14

Call her a lady instead of a woman. That would annoy the fuck out of me.

niugboo · 23/12/2019 06:06

Lose it with her. Proper flip your lid scream at her.

Or put bread on the roof and windows butter side down to attract birds.

Personally I would flip my lid.

Penners99 · 23/12/2019 08:27

Unwrap a few condoms. Add a flour/water mix to each. Leave on car door handle and under wipers on front and rear screens.

Teaandcake1000 · 23/12/2019 08:52

Get a lockable bollard and or go the legal route.

Ignore all the ridiculous advice to do damage to her car or any of the Petrie tariff.

Keep it firm and keep it legal

Shirl662 · 23/12/2019 09:54

Just buy a bollard for Christ’s sake!

purplebunny2012 · 23/12/2019 10:40

I know she shouldn't be parking there, but if she isn't really taking long can you not just drive around for a bit until she's gone?
It's not like she's there all day (unless she's lying about not being long, in which case selotape catalogue pages for watches to her car).
I'm definitely not on her side but at least it means you're not parking a long walk away
