To ask for a way to irritate woman parking in my spot?

Background, I live in a flat above a shop. My flat has it's own parking spot that I pay for. Despite this a entitled prick of a woman lady keeps parking in my spot. She has been told many times not to, but continues to do so. She understands it is private parking but doesn't care and says "I'm just leaving" or "I wont be long"

So, help me think if a suitably irritating thing I can do to her next time it happens? Nothing illegal obviously. Perhaps upending a nearby recycling bin all over her car

What can I do to teach her a lesson seeing as she clearly gives no fucks about what shes doing Wink

(Cant be bothered with putting up a penguin bollard, also cant block her in as it would mean I would be blocking a road to do so. Just something that would annoy her...)

Just park across her...

Just RTFT.

Or even just the first post.

WhatchaMaCalllit · 22/12/2019 10:40

Thought of another one- if you have a window that opens where the car is parked, I'd throw a basin of soapy water out the window as she either leaves the car or just as she returns to leave. Kind of like olden days when dirty soapy water used to be thrown out. If it kept happening, she may stop parking there?

Arrrkid · 22/12/2019 18:22

Throw a McDonalds milkshake over her windscreen...... an absolute ball ache to get off, and using your wipers just makes it 10 times worse!

OverByYer · 22/12/2019 18:37

I like the marmite on the door handles

Devereux1 · 22/12/2019 18:43

Can you park next to her? I mean so close she can't get in through the driver's door? Doesn't stop her, but could be annoying enough to deter.

Oscarsdaddy · 22/12/2019 18:49

Next time leave a note saying if she parks in your private space again the vehicle will be clamped

Go buy a clamp and if she does it again then clamp her.

She won’t do it again

Pumpkinpie1 · 22/12/2019 18:57

Have you contacted who you rent the parking space from?
Surely they should ensure who get what you are paying for?

Stickybeaksid · 22/12/2019 19:00

Tape a small whole fish to the underside of her car. It will start to smell over time but she won’t know where it’s coming from. Won’t solve the parking issue but it will make you happy. I have this issue constantly outside my house. I have some signs and lashings of prit stick for this reason. He t takes ages to get off but make its you do the windscreen and driver window.

Tron1982 · 22/12/2019 19:04

Have one if those lockable poles cemented in too the ground.

I like this idea. With a clear indication that the driver has been repeatedly told to not park there, ie. add in a dose of humiliation.

Does she have a parking space at her home I wonder...?

Toomuchtrouble4me · 22/12/2019 19:06

I think you can buy your own clamp if it IS exclusively your space - and warning signs are up - I’d look into that and when she asks you to take it off just say “I won’t be a minute...”

pelirocco123 · 22/12/2019 19:09

I am sure clamping is illegal now

Toomuchtrouble4me · 22/12/2019 19:09

I should have googled BEFORE I posted but you are not entitled to clamp her car as it’s on a public road, even if you pay for the space. Get a bollard is the only solution I think.

Tiredbuthappyfinally · 22/12/2019 19:09

I love this idea, I'd do that for sure! 😆 😆 8

Sorry / yes you are right, private property it’s ok but not on public roads - sorry op.

ivykaty44 · 22/12/2019 19:12

Do you have a car op?

MumW · 22/12/2019 19:14

How about spreading chilli/curry paste on her door handle?

Tiredbuthappyfinally · 22/12/2019 19:14

Genius idea!!! 😆

Patroclus · 22/12/2019 19:15

Landmines.

ivykaty44 · 22/12/2019 19:16

Tbh I’d just buy a cheap garden shed, Astro turf, picket fence and erect this all in your paid for car storage area. No one will be able to park and not a lot anyone can do about it

Nutella on the door handles, for that moment of Xmas Shock

CaptSkippy · 22/12/2019 19:24

I'd be way more obvious and tape the damn fish with duct tape to the windscreen.

QueenOfTheFae · 22/12/2019 19:25

Theres always the skip delivery option behind her car if you have a friendly one who can drop round quickly
Or a large bag of sand?

Abbierigby123 · 22/12/2019 19:28

Cling film wrap her car

HemlockStarglimmer · 22/12/2019 19:34

When my old boss parked where he shouldn’t at a hospital he came out to a large notice stuck the the driver’s side window. He had the choice of not being able to see out of it and everyone knowing what he’d done or driving with the window open.
(He gave me the job of getting it off. It took about two hours of soaking and scraping to remove it all).
At this time of year she’ll get cold, and wet hopefully.
