I find Corbyn deeply unsettling

There is something about the man that makes me shudder - the cold detachment of the man.

I really do worry about what would be unleashed if he were elected.

I can cope with much of the sentiment in the Labour manifesto, but not the man. Similar feelings about Mc Donnell, but he seems to manage to pull out some humanity in interviews

He supports the ira. He's a cold heartless bastard.

recrudescence · 12/12/2019 12:28

Where have they been hiding Keir Starmer, I wonder? And, more to the point, why?

Those around Corbyn know he’s toast and want to ensure that his successor is also from the hard left. He has been sidelined in this election campaign because, as they say, out of sight is out of mind.

It's really depressing me that the Conservatives are predicted to win a majority, how?? How can there be so many people willing to vote for them?

Because not everyone is thick enough to fall for JC's moon-on-a-stick promises.

And since the only viable alternative - the only other party with any hope whatsoever of winning - is the Cons, then that's what they will vote for.

If the dipsticks had thrown in free SKY TV along with the promise of free broadband, they might have had more luck.

PinkCrayon · 12/12/2019 12:55

No you just choose to go with a proven liar? Who lies more than he tells the truth @DowntownAbby

Peaseblossom22 · 12/12/2019 14:10

@noneedtoberudedear do you know him personally ?

Cnp41 · 12/12/2019 16:17

I think Downton Abbey's username tell us everything we need to know about where their priorities lie...Dipsticks indeed.

lilgreen · 12/12/2019 16:36

Go Jezza! 👍🏻

monstiebags · 12/12/2019 17:00

Could never support anyone who supports the IRA , terrorists and holocaust deniers. He is a disgrace - he's never had a proper job and for some reason has managed to get himself a council house to buy. He's an absolutely despicable man who wants only to destroy this country and everything it stands for. At the last election, when he knew he had no hope of winning, he offered to pay back all the student loans - where is that promise now? He wants uncontrolled immigration that will open up our NHS to health tourism on a scale never seen before - and of course, all those tourists will be allowed to vote - not because it is right but because they will undoubtedly vote for him and power is all he's interested in. Thank God he's old and doddery so we won't have to put up with him long.

Could you support the eviction and burning down of homes so that you can steal land and take over the ruling of a country @monstiebags

PasDevantLesElephants · 12/12/2019 17:20

So which politicians do you get a warm engaging feeling from? I'm struggling with a shortlist over here...

monstiebags · 12/12/2019 17:52

I don't have a choice of who sits on Croydon's council. I do have a choice in the General Election. Will definitely not be voting for someone who wants to destroy the Western way of life. He is not an idealist seeking a bright future for us all - he is seeking to destroy this country in some unilateral protest against capitalism that will have devastating effects, mostly for the vulnerable in society.

ListeningQuietly · 12/12/2019 17:54

And Boris isn't ?????

monstiebags · 12/12/2019 17:56

Corbin is standing in this country. His policies about here are more important to me than his notions of wrongdoing in places to which I have never been and admittedly know very little about. I don't have a say in how those countries behave, or how their leaders behave - I can't vote there. I can vote here, and i will not support terrorism here.

lilgreen · 12/12/2019 17:57

@monstiebags it WAS here that did those things/ to Ireland!

TopBitchoftheWitches · 12/12/2019 17:58

I find a man who doesn't know how many children he has and who hides in a freezer to avoid piers Morgan very unsettling.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 12/12/2019 17:58

Sorry, a fridge.

monstiebags · 12/12/2019 17:59

Well, between hiding in the fridge and stealing journalists phones, I feel a lot less threatened by Boris's ability to utterly destroy the UK. A systematic hatred of all things Western that began in childhood and has continued to grow into adulthood, coupled with a lack of education or intellect is much more worrying - Boris isn't perfect but he's definitely less dangerous than the alternative.

breastfeeding · 12/12/2019 18:00

You’re mistaking cold and detached. He’s not. He’s a thinker and maybe that comes across as detachment but I’d rather someone who pauses and actually thinks and cares than someone charismatic with all the right phrases and platitudes who is actually a buffoon or downright dangerous and a liar

lilgreen · 12/12/2019 18:01

Lol @monstiebags yeah that 2 time peace prize winner is so dumb! Hmm

monstiebags · 12/12/2019 18:01

Or got rid of student loans like they promised to in the last election - or was that a promise only made because they knew they had no chance of winning?

lilgreen · 12/12/2019 18:02

A westerner that hates all things western.Confused

lilgreen · 12/12/2019 18:02

It’s in the manifesto!!!

NotACleverName · 12/12/2019 18:03

Boris the racist, homophobe, Islamophobic, misogynist?

lilgreen · 12/12/2019 18:03

Boris the twat will do.
