Not a fan of Boris. Not a Tory bot.

There seems to be another "look at my dossier"/"read this article"/"read these lies!" Thread every 4.5 seconds. I'm bored to the point of losing the plot over this.

Again, not a Boris fan but I like to think that people can educate themselves without yet another bloody thread implying they're deluded or living under a bush?

I’m quite bored of Johnson’s lies, yet they keep coming, each bigger than the last. And they need to be called out.

It's an important election, people are going to share what's going on.

It's quite difficult when most days whilst on the campaign trail Boris lies through his teeth - why shouldn't he be called out?

There's an easy option, hide or don't read the threads. But if one of these hundreds of threads persuades one Tory voter to change their vote I'm all for it.

If you’re bored that your prime minister tells lies at such a rate that there are constant threads then maybe you should look at whether he is suitable as a prime minister. He is a liar. Repeatedly. It needs to be highlighted since MSM seem to pass over it almost as often as he lies.

What bothers you? The fact that we have a Prime Minister who lies as a matter of course. Or threads remarking on it? I’m hoping the former.

I haven't seen anywhere near as many about Labour's multitude of sins.

Boris has lied. Corbyn has lied. Both parties have failed to deal with a whole load of mind boggling awfulness.

My AIBU is about why people feel the need to start ANOTHER thread when there are so bloody many already. It's also the patronising tone of most of the OPs.

the person claiming its momentum bots- have you any evidence? do you think all the people who dont like boris lies are momentum or just the thread starters?

Rather than being appalled, people need to understand clearly what we are dealing with. Leaders who lie are being elected all over the world. It's practically a requirement. Johnson would probably lose votes if he suddenly came across as sincere and in command of facts.

That needs to be clearly understood, before the problem can be addressed. Simply pointing out that people are lying is counterproductive.

I wouldn’t be criticising his lies - politicians lie. I’d be pointing out his utter incompetence. As London mayor he spunked away million in public funds on his pet ‘Garden Bridge’ project that came to nothing. As Foreign Secretary he made false statements about a UK citizen wrongfully imprisoned by Iran - she is spending another Christmas in prison.

There are competent politicians out there. Labour ones, Conservative ones, Brexit supporters, Remainers, men, women, young and old. Why pick a useless one?
