So i originally followed Mrs Hinch when i saw her on This Morning and i thought i would be a great way of getting cleaning tips.....which originally it was. But now i think it has turned into this one big advertising campaign and what items she has been gifted.
So i have decided to unfollow her and i feel so much better for it.
What are your thoughts?

Has it been said, anywhere, how "much she is worth" or how much she earns?
How would you know?

Someone's already mentioned above me but she earns quite a lot from all this. Ignoring the partnerships with other companies (even if she uses the "20% off if you use my code hinchblah blah" would earn her a comission) those swipe ups are where Instagram earn their influencers/bloggers their main amount of money.

This is where any influencer on insta aims to be, it's through followers and interactions, do you then earn the swipe up feature. And think how many swipe ups does she get when she sells out a product on ebay ect? She must have a deal with ebay, she never mentions Amazon (half these products if you buy them on ebay are the sellers on ebay buying them via amazon prime too!).

I don't hate her, it's a bloody hard thing what she's done. It's not easy to get into her industry, to gain a natural amount of followers without using follower loops ect.

How would you know?
From what her stories show she's a SAHM.
If she does manage to earn a few pennies from her feed, or get gifted some stuff, good on her - I know I would if l could and most people probably would too.

If you calculate the amount of stuff she's been gifted alone for the new extension, it's around £40,000! Never mind how much she is paid for ads/swipe ups.. the rumour is £5000 for just a few seconds of content.

This is not a 'few pennies' scenario.. far from it. That's why it's so wrong to me that she maintains the girl next door persona for her follwers who don't know any better.

The stuff she has had is what we know about. Some gifted things may never make it onto IG, especially if they were just sent on without a contract. Small businesses will do this just hoping it gets exposure

A paid partnership will involve being given the items and being contracted to show them on IG or being paid. An ad is the same. You may be paid for the ad or just the items you get ie with Very, I think the payment is that she gets to order X value items, keep them and show them. eBay she is an affiliate and gets swipe up revenue.

why? Every single celeb - royal family included - have a "public image" that can be totally different to their real life personality. She is currently sticking to the "Mrs Hinch" brand she created, why should she change it when it's still successful?

Lol, she can't win - the fumes, they must stink, made from God knows what!
They're batteries - "batteries? Tasteful" (presumably as opposed to the poster's far more superior taste)

Today she has spent a lot of time cleaning stuff that is already clean, and spending up at Home Bargains.

I have a battery operated pillar candle. I had no idea it was so wrong. Shock Grin

At the tender age of 46 ! all this has just dawned on me, sorry for being so naive so when they say swipe up they are getting paid and obviously when they say ad they've been paid to promote xyz I like ptwm and I noticed she was obviously promoting the fab fit box thing but I suppose this is how they earn their money now but I agree most of them are all selling something aren't there- crawls back under my naive rock! -sorry all x

@WotchaTalkinBoutWillis had a quick google and various newspaper articles say she is worth £1 million and can get up to 6k for one sponsored post. Don’t know how accurate that is but she is definitely earning a lot more than a few pennies! She also has a book out (which is apparently mainly her instagram stuff put on paper)

I think most of Instagram is becoming a sales platform. I follow a lot of make up brands and it's just plain advertising. I followed them originally to get tips!!!

This is a bitchy thread. I don't follow her because I'm not a fan of the content. Why not just unfollow rather than start a whole thread blasting her life choices and character?

of course, she is pretty and successful. Too many reasons to hate her and bitch!
I don't follow her either, I hate grey, but I do find the anger rather amusing. I just hope for her she doesn't read it all. Her only crime is about cleaning. It's fashionable. It's embarrassing to be so negative about that.
