unfollowed Mrs Hinch

So i originally followed Mrs Hinch when i saw her on This Morning and i thought i would be a great way of getting cleaning tips.....which originally it was. But now i think it has turned into this one big advertising campaign and what items she has been gifted.
So i have decided to unfollow her and i feel so much better for it.
What are your thoughts?

I think the way people feel tricked or cheated is that the persona people create is so convincing. They start to relate to that person and support them. Then when they feel that they are being used for their cash, and not really appreciated for the actual support as the person is more interested in financial gain than anything else.

This is always the case with the whole ‘rags to riches’ way people get rich or famous. Once they are rich or famous they are no longer like everyone else.

I’m not personally offended by anything she does but I think that she would be better off to stop keep saying ‘I’m just like a normal person and can’t believe this is happening to me’ as that is annoying. She made it happen. And you aren’t like everyone else at all anymore. Just own THAT

I followed her at the start, as others have said, when it wasn’t all ads and free stuff and I’ve noticed lately she’s stopped doing some of the stuff she used to recommend people do e.g. spraying diluted fabric conditioner on cushions and using diluted fabric conditioner with zolora to clean skirtings etc. 🤔 probably because people were saying it made the soft furnishings mouldy and made the paint peel of skirtings

I may stop following her shortly too only so many times you can watch someone put toilet duck in the toilet and make sausage casserole for the 4th night that week

She tries to hide gifted and ad so I would argue it's still done with good intentions

I have finally given in and stopped following her. I was a big fan at the beginning and she motivated me to clean. But.... I can see now that she’s misleading people with her unsafe practices and lies. She recently sprayed her sons bib with a harsh degreaser product, and then showed another bib as the “after” picture 😡. She got caught out as the pattern in the two bibs varied slightly.

She maintained that was a genuine mistake didn't she? All 'what am I like guys?' That she had 2 identical bibs bit it did make me wonder. I wouldn't be spraying Elbow Grease on bibs though.

I don’t think that stuff is harsh? I had to use it yesterday as I had accidentally sprayed polish on wood flooring and it helped take the sheen off. It’s solvent free and doesn’t irritate my skin

to be fair, that applies to every single cleaning product. It works well though.

I think she generally made a mistake ! I do agree with all the advertising , but I still love watching her stories!
