Wow, what a boring life and relationship you must lead. Don't need surprises if you're an adult? Just go sit over there.

Patroclus · 08/12/2019 14:39

Whats the difference when you 'source' something?

Emz834 · 08/12/2019 14:41

These lot obviously don't have a loving, thoughtful partner that likes to surprise his wife. Every present my husband and I have got each other is a surprise. There's no age limit on surprises, they're not just for kids. What are you on? I guess these lot get Tesco vouchers from their partners/husbands Grin Xmas Smile

CallmeAngelina · 08/12/2019 14:41

Did that bitchy post make you feel better about yourself, Emz?

OP posts:
CallmeAngelina · 08/12/2019 14:42

Oops sorry Emz!! Mis-read your intent in the first post.

Emz834 · 08/12/2019 14:44

Xmas Grin No offense taken...easy to get mixed up here Crown Wink

RedLipstickHighHeels · 08/12/2019 14:44

@Emz is actually supporting you. Yikes you’re on a short fuse

CallmeAngelina · 08/12/2019 14:47

Yes I see that now and I have apologised. WineWine

RedLipstickHighHeels · 08/12/2019 14:47

Ok so the item arrived unwrapped?did your dp then wrap it in thin plastic?
Yes it’s an electronic signature but it must have had a delivery label, address, name?
Was the delivery label just affixed to the unwrapped item

Emz834 · 08/12/2019 14:48

Wine WineWink

CallmeAngelina · 08/12/2019 14:48

But in my own defence, there have been many insulting and belittling posts on here and I have had Wine with Sunday lunch and read it too quickly.

these lot is quite bitchy tbf

Emz834 · 08/12/2019 14:49

That happens Grin

CallmeAngelina · 08/12/2019 14:50

He said it's not even in the plastic (that was my error). Don't want to quiz him too much about it because there is still the smallest part of a surprise left for me to actually see it close up on Christmas Day.

RedLipstickHighHeels · 08/12/2019 14:53

In that case most definitely follow up with John Lewis. Complete absence of packaging is not right

Oh do pipe down Emz, it’s immature to call other women bitches & bitchy
Splendid that you’re happy in your relationship, that in itself isn’t sufficient reason to get all smug married

MinervaSaidThat · 08/12/2019 15:02

I’d take these lot and these women over you any day, @Emz834

itsmecathycomehome · 08/12/2019 15:02

It was just a big giant ornament without any packaging whatsoever? Well then YANBU and either JL or their chosen delivery company have messed up there.

Emz834 · 08/12/2019 15:37

I'm relieved to hear that.

Cohle · 08/12/2019 15:37

Goodness I wasn't aware people's views on delivery packing was so closely tied to their relationship status. Hmm

Sparklingbrook · 08/12/2019 16:32

So no packaging at all now? Where was the invoice that comes with it?

RedLipstickHighHeels · 08/12/2019 16:37

Completely naked item.no wrapping.nadda
Where were the delivery details,eg name, address, the invoice, given it arrived and was signed for
Her partner signed for it electronically so it’s tracked in some way

CallmeAngelina · 08/12/2019 16:41

So no packaging at all now?
What do you mean, "now?" You think I'm making this up? I said a few posts ago there was an update. Don't know if there was a paper invoice/address sheet stuffed inside (and dh has gone vague) and I'm not about to go poking about looking for one, either.
