How are you voting in December?

Apologies if there’s already a thread on this - I did look and couldn’t find one.

So now it’s been confirmed that we’re having a GE in December, how are you voting? And what are your predictions on the results?

I’ve seen quite a few posts on here over the past couple months from people saying they wouldn’t vote now as they are politically homeless - wondering if these people still feel that way?

I’m voting labour - albeit in a very safe Tory area (so feel very much as though my vote doesn’t count). Reasons being I would never vote Tory and I don’t like a lot of what the Lim Dems have said recently. I also couldn’t bring myself not to vote at all.

Spoiling my ballot paper.

SNP

MrsJasonIsbell · 30/10/2019 07:37

SNP

motueka03 · 30/10/2019 07:37

Green because I live in Brighton & Caroline Lucas is my local MP

motueka03 · 30/10/2019 07:38

and my prediction is a hung parliament but not sure who the biggest party will be

TulipsTulipsTulips · 30/10/2019 07:38

Conservative and I think the conservatives will win. After the election I hope the country can reunite again as we’ve had such a politically toxic year.

Reachedsohigh · 30/10/2019 07:39

My husband and I had a discussion about this last night. For the first time I don't know what I do want, but I know what I definitely don't want so I have to vote accordingly. In this instance that means a Cobservative vote.

MangoSpice · 30/10/2019 07:40

SNP here too.

Merryoldgoat · 30/10/2019 07:40

Labour in a very safe Labour seat. But the Conservatives will win which makes me feel physically sick.

Reachedsohigh · 30/10/2019 07:40

Conservative....must remember spellcheck 🙈

FuckyNel · 30/10/2019 07:40

Tory

SatansReject · 30/10/2019 07:41

Conservative.

In all honesty I’d vote raving loony party if it meant keeping Corbyn out.

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 30/10/2019 07:41

Lib Dem, hate the tories and think even by their standards the damage they've done to the country is unbelievable.

Labour don't stand a chance in my area and I'm not a Corbyn fan anyway.

So that leaves Lib Dem's, not happy with everything they've done but do agree with their stance on brexit.

StartsAtTheMeadow · 30/10/2019 07:41

LD I think, I don't agree with them on everything but Brexit (and not wanting it) is the biggest issue for me.

I think the result will be an even more hung parliament than before, Tories the biggest party but no majority. The Brexit Party will probably get an MP or two in and Labour will lose a lot of seats to the SNP & LDs. Is a coalition opposition a thing?

Tableclothing · 30/10/2019 07:41

Lib Dem. I feel it's my last opportunity to register my opposition to the B-word. In a very safe Labour seat, though.

RaininSummer · 30/10/2019 07:41

Struggling. They are all obnoxious in some way. Can't vote Labour.

SilverySurfer · 30/10/2019 07:41

Conservatives

Likethebattle · 30/10/2019 07:42

Conservative could offer free puppies and a million £ each and I still would never vote for them.

Saucery · 30/10/2019 07:42

Conservative. Hope there is no hung parliament, we can address the Brexit issue then start to repair our parliamentary system in the years to come. At the moment it isn’t fit for purpose. The DUP need to be relieved of their CaS stranglehold, Labour need to elect a new leader and become a viable opposition again and the LibDems need to decide what their values are (and ditch Sneery Swinson).

Macca84 · 30/10/2019 07:43

Labour. I have mixed views about Corbyn but like alot of his policies. Could never ever vote Tory Envy

curlychocs · 30/10/2019 07:43

I will never vote Conservative. I usually vote Labour. I really rate my local Labour MP and would not want to lose him so, although I'm not completely in favour of all Labour say, I will vote for him. Lib Dems have the stance I want on Brexit but their other policies are not where I am politically. I wish they had had people's vote instead of a GE so that we could all have said either yes to the deal or just forget Brexit, it's too hard!!

Babynut1 · 30/10/2019 07:44

Labour

AmIThough · 30/10/2019 07:46

Conservatives but I am very worried about the potential of a coalition with The Brexit Party.

My concern is so many people are only going to vote based on their opinion of Brexit.
However the plus side of that is that many people will vote Lib Dem rather than Labour. I couldn't bear a Labour government, especially led by Corbyn. I think his approach to everything over the last year has been farcical.
