‘Inspirational’ quotes that you actually quite like?

I’m sure there was a thread about this not too long ago but I can’t find it.

A lot of the ‘inspirational’ quotes I see I think are fairly awful, but I came across this one the other day that I did like:

‘Be the star of your own story.’

So, AIBU to say there are some quite nice inspirational quotes or are they all a load of rubbish?!

Be yourself- everyone else is taken.

I LOVE the woman fixing another woman’s crown one.

Also

‘In a world where you can be anything, be kind.’

And

‘Everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about.’

Also I quite like buddhist teachings and one of them says something which says that, you keep being annoyed about someone insulting you, you are allowing them to insult you again and again each time you think about it and get annoyed by it.

The one about grief is spot on.

I asked for strength, so life gave me difficulties to overcome. I hate ‘inspirational’ quotes but this quote has got me through tough times.

Work hard in silence. Let success be your noise.

I agree. It counters the bragging culture of social media.

Absolutely. I saw something (ironically, on social media ) that said something like ‘the best relationships are the ones that you don’t see online’ (or something) and I thought that was very true.

Another one related to social media is one I remind my teen DDs.
Don’t compare other people’s show reels to your cutting room floor.
