‘Inspirational’ quotes that you actually quite like?

I’m sure there was a thread about this not too long ago but I can’t find it.

A lot of the ‘inspirational’ quotes I see I think are fairly awful, but I came across this one the other day that I did like:

‘Be the star of your own story.’

So, AIBU to say there are some quite nice inspirational quotes or are they all a load of rubbish?!

I like "Everything you want is on the other side of fear" and "Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about."

Oh, and "If you wait long enough by the river, the bodies of your enemies will all float past." Definitely true, that last one.

This is my most recently discovered piece of inspiration. Different does not mean less important, beautiful, powerful or splendid. The stars differ from one another but they differ in Splendour. I love that.

My daughter has this printed out on her bedroom wall.

She has awful issues with anxiety, has some SEN and feels like she doesn’t fit in anywhere. But on a horse, she flies
