‘Inspirational’ quotes that you actually quite like?

I’m sure there was a thread about this not too long ago but I can’t find it.

A lot of the ‘inspirational’ quotes I see I think are fairly awful, but I came across this one the other day that I did like:

‘Be the star of your own story.’

So, AIBU to say there are some quite nice inspirational quotes or are they all a load of rubbish?!

It's cheesy but it suits how I approach life, I have three jobs and lots of different friends who I meet up with one to one and do very different things with each of them. If everything is assumed and the same, I get really down.

I haven't read the whole thread yet so sorry if somebody has already shared it but I've loved this quote for years.

I've only ever been given one inspirational quote that I remember.

It works whether you are a partner/spouse, parent, sibling, child, friend, boss, neighbour.

Don't be a twat.

If they are a twat, you don't have to be too.

@INeedMoreCats I’ve always liked “don’t be a dick” - great life lesson right there. I also hope I raise my sons not to be dicks either.
