21 yr old daughter doesnt want to contribute to our home financially

my daughter totally refused to contribute to household financially,she paid a small amount last year,but just refuses and says i just want her for her ££,I paid my mum and dad from 16
any suggestions?
Im deff being taken for a mug

You never said she was at university. Full time university students have never been entitled to free prescriptions and yes, you are expected to top up her maintenance to the specified amount.

Totally different to the OP whose dd is not in full time education and is working.

My dh is in uni part time doing his Masters. The rest of the time he is earning £30k per year. maybe I should tell him he doesn't have to contribute to the household.

Don’t get me wrong. I will definitely be expecting financial contributions from my children when they are in a position to do so. I was simply supporting PPs who stated that parents are obliged to support their children for a lot longer than some people think.

I think that people are assuming that as she is only 21 she probably isn't earning much more than minimum wage and if that is part time it isn't anywhere near 30k
