I like a Royal wedding - I haven't been invited to a wedding for years, and none of my dses are showing any signs of getting married any time soon, and I do love a wedding - so televised Royal weddings allow me to get my fix of sparkly dresses, tiaras and all other wedding related fluff.

I know it is shallow, and while I have a lot of respect for the Queen, I am not so sure we need all the extended Royal family, so I can understand your feelings, @TottieandMarchpane. But my inner tiara-lover is celebrating! Sorry.

I think it's lovely and she is the last of the current generation to get married so enjoy the wedding! It will be a while before the upcoming generation gets married!

I like watching a royal wedding to see all the clothes. And wonder why, in the main, those with money have absolutely no dress sense. Not so much the family themselves, but all the friends. There were some absolute shockers at Harry and Meghan’s. 😱. Old curtains anyone?
