Really? Hisher's Oscar for the worst Bond theme EVER was the first time a gay man's been recognized at the Oscars? I'm sure that will come as a surprise to so many TALENTED songwriters who came before hisher, not to mention actors/actresses/directors/screenwriters/etc. who are gay and who have won many Oscars, collectively and singularly. Sam Smith is like Madonna: desperately trying to stay relevant even though hisher's best work is behind himher. Ugh.

@GirlAfraid. That's a bit disappointing, but maybe the management are being somewhat cautious. I know jobs/work aren't what they used to be, but wonder what "the shop floor" thinks about that?
Don't mind me - I'm still living in the days when men were men and women were women, and "shop floor" thought "management" were crackers.
