New family just moved in to a rented house technically down the side of our house. They have 4 cars, one parking space. The street has space for 5 cars in total, so they deem this a suitable place to park - right across our drive.

Having asked them to move it, I got told they have nowhere to park and he doesn’t want his daughter walking too far to get to her car. Aibu to think we shouldn’t be inconvenienced because these people didn’t think ahead when deciding to rent this house, and what the hell can you do in these circumstances?

I'm hating them on your behalf. Pathetic bunch of feral fuckers. Keep your chin up - if that's the highlight of their day, shows how sad their lives are.

Burtiebojangles · 29/10/2019 23:57

They’re making my life a fucking misery. Might as well have just pissed the money I spent on the drive up the wall.

It's Halloween tomorrow, it would be a shame if their car was floured and egged by the local kids...

cordeliavorkosigan · 30/10/2019 00:44

Police. Asbo team. That's completely ridiculous. Hopefully someone will at least tow their car!

Burtiebojangles · 30/10/2019 01:31

I’ve had some monitoring forms through to fill in for the ASBO teams today, I’m hoping I get a call back today. She said she’d call back in the middle of this week so fingers crossed. I only got 5 copies though, I think they underestimated how much I have to say about these twats.

It just does my fucking head in the absolute cheek of these cunts. I was dead to the world at 8pm I’m that worn out at the moment, it was only because my son is teething and got a bit upset at half 10 I was even up. Made the stupid decision to look outside as I was settling him, now I’m just so wound up I can’t even sleep.

I was thinking of throwing something at the car to set the alarm off but I’m too much of a wimp 😩.

God they're right wankers aren't they. I'd be buying old bangers and parking then there full time.

shrutefarm · 30/10/2019 08:52

If only you could do this!

custardbear · 30/10/2019 08:53

For goodness sake!! Is that silver car their car? If nothing else they could have bloody blocked them in (albeit that's
Not great still) - go nuclear on them (via those routes supporting you of course!) - arseholes!

shrutefarm · 30/10/2019 08:53

Or similar road spike!

Omfg 🤦🏼‍♀️

Burtiebojangles · 30/10/2019 09:05

@shrutefarm haha! Oh I wish!

@custardbear no, that’s another neighbours car.

She’s done it to prove a point because we sorted the drive out. She was parked so close to our car she actually had to walk on our drive to get in. Brazen as fuck, got me some more evidence for the council though.

DdraigGoch · 30/10/2019 09:24

Even with the handbrake on it shouldn't be too hard for a few people to push it out of the way.

Burtiebojangles · 30/10/2019 09:44

@DdraigGoch I wouldn’t mind rounding up the troops to flip it on its roof.

I can't believe this is still going on Shock hope they eventually give in

Raindancer411 · 30/10/2019 10:44

As you said it's more evidence for the file. Just keep notes and photos and so not react.

WindFlower92 · 30/10/2019 12:32

Just read the whole thread - kept me going while up with the baby all night! How infuriating they are! Hope it all gets sorted, but who knows what issue they'll focus on next??

WelshMoth · 30/10/2019 14:09

What about buying boulder rocks to place on your boundary line OP? Builders merchants will deliver.

Sorry if it's been mentioned already.

WelshMoth · 30/10/2019 14:10

Exactly why can't they park on their drive? We can get 4 cars on our drive and, even if it means forward planning and being available to move cars around whenever one of us has to go out, that's what we do.

No way we'd be inconsiderate to our neighbours.

MaButterface · 30/10/2019 14:19

Wow what scumbags. With parents like that no wonder the kids are as terrible.

Burtiebojangles · 30/10/2019 15:51

@WelshMoth she’ll take on a bin to prove a point, I don’t think there would be anything big enough to stop her.

In regards to the drive, fuck knows. They all leave around the same time in a morning, they’re obviously just that put out by us asking them not to block our drive they’ll do anything to piss us off.

I’m seething inside that she had the fucking cheek to use our drive to get into her car. Got the little troll on video, it’s a petty trespass but I’m all in for being petty now 😂.

nervousfirsttimer1985 · 30/10/2019 17:06

Have you spoken to the neighbour who owns the other car? I would not be happy if I was them either. I feel sorry for you that this had been going on so long OP. Hope you get it resolved soon Hmm

Burtiebojangles · 30/10/2019 17:54

@nervous to be fair it’s a bit of a free for all down there, the silver car is a teacher who doesn’t move during the school holidays but it’s usually these twats neighbours who park there who they’ve recruited to their covern of cunts so they don’t care.

Thanks for all your well wishes though, I’m crossing everything their house burns down or something. It’s the only way I see this ending 😩

feelingchange · 30/10/2019 18:03

Can you not ask the council to paint the white lines in front of the drive?
