Lidl. Had the most amazing smoked tuna with wasabi paste. I bought lots. Then they just stopped. No explanation. No goodbyes. No weaning me off.

I asked in store. They don't know. I emailed Lidl. They said they'll ask the buyers. I don't know if they did cos they didn't tell me. But it didn't reappear on the shelves.

I have googled my head off and can not find smoked tuna anywhere.

Help!! Send smoked tuna!

OP this us typical lidl, don't shop in there often as it's well out of my way, but always discontinue things - and they changed the curly fries recipe, unforgivable!

actually I seem to remember HB doing a duty of raspberry coconut Ruffles in a bag near the tills. Will these tide you over until justice has been restored?

I'd forgotten just how much I love Raspberry Ruffles until you mentioned this. I'm definitely going to get some to help me through this period of mourning, until HB see sense.

My Aldi has stopped stocking their dupe of the Organix Goodies bars. It’s seriously pissing me off. I’m having to make regular detours to Sainsbury’s to stock up on the expensive ones.

Years ago Pret used to do a little pot of natural yogurt with mini brownies in. Bloody delicious. I’ve still not got over it.

I can’t find cholula hot sauce anywhere, it seems to have disappeared.

The bigger Asda store near me has Cholula and it's on their site.

Clinique discontinued my favourite lipstick - Pink Chocolate and nothing has ever been quite as good.

I still mourn the loss of Green & Blacks cherry dark chocolate and their incredible dark choc cereal bars.

M&S make a point of removing everything that I love, fruit rocks, pink grapefruit Tinos, baked potato flavour crisps (weird I know but they were amazing) Deltas, mustard flavoured crisps, Hopping John rice, sun dried tomato tagliatelle. I could go on and on.

OP - John West do smoked tuna in olive oil. Expensive for a small tin but amazing.

Sainsbury’s used to do the mist amazing salmon and dill tortellini. I don’t like tortellini and I don’t like fish with pasta. But these were divine and I lived on them during my last pregnancy.

They left without saying goodbye circa 2012 and I am still bereft.

I have the roll on oil, I find it really strong and then it just seems to disappear. I liked envy me & envy me 2 but you can't get any of them now.

Also, Waitrose used to sell stove top stuffing mix in its ‘American aisle’. Stopped around 2 years ago. I loved that buttery, cornbread and sage and onion goodness. Was a great addition to roast dinners. Gutted.

Oh I just had Envy. Greenish liquid in squared thin bottle. The pp oil is pretty close for me.

@DareDevil223 baked potato crisps! They did sound weird but there WERE amazing!! I have been missing them too.

M&S also did a great sensitive scalp shampoo that actually worked. They discontinued that and eventually I discovered the boots ‘expert’ one. Now that has been discontinued too. My poor itchy head!!

Our Lidl has been ominously free of almond stuffed olives recently. In fact any olives apart from the plain green pitted ones. ☹️

I've never got over the loss of Asda Black Forest sadwich bars. Like penguins, but had a layer of gewy black forest amazingness on the top.

But Lidl are total bastards for this I agree. I used to get the vegan spring rolls weekly, they were so good and the kids loved them, and one day they were just gone. The most recent item that has vanished and caused me a lot of upset is the Pom Bear imitation mice.

Oh @drivingmisspotty the last couple of times I've been in Lidl I've not been able to find the cheap jarred black olives, but have been in a rush. They better not be discontinued.

Sorry not RTFT but this has happened to me many, many times over the years! From flapjacks to curries and everything in between! The latest is Cirio's Pizzassimo sauce which I used to make a fantastic tomato sauce for meatballs - GONE! I emailed Ocado, googled frantically and messaged Cirio via their facebook page but no luck! Found one massive catering tin on an out of date tin website but the postage was astronomical however NOW I wish I had bought it. So I can sympathise, I honestly thought it must just be me!

@FelicityBeedle Have you tried other stores? My local has had liquid talc on offer in the doorway all Summer; I'd guessed that was because of all the PR.

M&S Deltas, Cadbury’s Silk bar, M&S yogurt gums, Lidl salted caramel and chocolate nut bars, Terrys Dairy Box yogurt desserts, Ice Breaker chocolate bars, Cadbury Nut Crisp, Cadbury Chunky (only available at Christmas but not at all now), Muller corner strawberry yoghurt with chocolate and orange flavour balls, Cherry 7Up - available in some American shops but at a daft price and it’s awful now.

Just a few that I miss along with most drinks as I can’t have artificial sweetners. On the plus side, our Asda have loads of the liquid talc. On the subject of Asda they used to do these ready meals that were in pouches; they were really handy for a quick, healthy-ish tea after the gym. I loved the Thai king prawns; so of course they discontinued the entire range.

Lidl had this cheap perfume called Diamonds and it's gone . All they have left is the stinky Madame Glamour or similar.

I loved it as I used it around the house for a little boost and I have none left.

The Body Shop seem to have run out of the Smokey Rose and Musk perfume, but I'm hoping it's temporary!

Oh and McDonalds cinnamon doughnuts, never found a replacement.
