Lidl. Had the most amazing smoked tuna with wasabi paste. I bought lots. Then they just stopped. No explanation. No goodbyes. No weaning me off.

I asked in store. They don't know. I emailed Lidl. They said they'll ask the buyers. I don't know if they did cos they didn't tell me. But it didn't reappear on the shelves.

I have googled my head off and can not find smoked tuna anywhere.

Help!! Send smoked tuna!

I’ve had to Tweet Aldi twice so far this summer about things that have stopped being stocked - thankfully they both came back in, but I went in yesterday to get the sriacha mayo and it was also gone! FUMING.

mysteryfairy · 26/08/2019 17:27

Ocado have veganaise sriracha mayo...it is £4.99 though

ClaraThePigeon · 26/08/2019 17:31

I got sriacha mayo(It had a vegan label on it) from Home Bargains the other day. It was only £1.29 or so.

I still haven't bought anything (to my knowledge) from Garnier since they discontinued the Neutralia range. Bastards. It smelled great, left irritable Psoriatic skin and hair glowing with health and I could go 12 hours at work in a heatwave and still look cool, calm and collected after the 45 minute bus-tram-bus-walk home.

Bastards. Bastards. Bastards.

And my ex who, upon finding out I had carefully stashed the last five bottles from the poundshop in the back of the cupboard because they were Special For Me, deliberately used it all up and laughed when I realised there was none left - cunt. Cunt. Cunt.

Ginkypig · 26/08/2019 17:45

Dooleys or even better heather cream and walkers BBQ rib flavour crisps (in the black packet) oh and raspberry (Jaffa) cakes from lidless.

All just disappeared one day with no warning or explanation and left me devastated, I have had to forge a new but definitely less appealing life without them!

Oh and the last 3 times Iv been in Lidl didn't have normal orange Jaffa cakes (the best of all the Jaffa cakes) so if anyone sees them can you let me know as I'm very worried that they too have disappeared from the world.

DrDiva · 26/08/2019 17:46

@Solonelywastheballard Ocado stock coconut and vanilla popcorn.

Ginkypig · 26/08/2019 17:46

Solonelywastheballard · 26/08/2019 19:21

Legomadx2 · 26/08/2019 19:57

Where have they gone Waitrose? My spag bol is not the same!

Legomadx2 · 26/08/2019 19:58

That's shocking @MitziK

Axlcat · 26/08/2019 19:58

Pret half chocolate dipped coconut macaroons in a little bag. Still devastated 3 years later.

WonkyDonkey9 · 26/08/2019 19:58

Felicity oh I was looking for that talc!

flashingbeacon · 26/08/2019 20:03

I’d forgotten that raspberry Jaffa cakes don’t exist anymore. They got me through my first big break up.

Thingsthatgo · 26/08/2019 20:03

Marks and spencer Belgium chocolate covered cornflakes. They were unbelievably delicious, my mum and I used to share a pack with a cuppa. We were both so sad when they stopped making them.

Benjispruce · 26/08/2019 20:08

This happens to me but the 2 perfumes I loved:
Gucci Envy -the original not that new imposter &
Stella McCartney L.I.L.Y
The worst thing is Stella’s perfume was so named as it stood for Linda I love you, referring to her late mother. Why would you discontinue a tribute to your mum? If I see her in the street, I’ll be having words!!!

Benjispruce · 26/08/2019 20:12

Mama I waited 6 weeks for Aldi’s corn cakes! 6 flippin weeks!!!
Their excuse was, they only use 1 supplier to buy in huge quantities thus saving money and passing savings to the customer, me. Well alright then...forgiven.

StarlingsInSummer · 26/08/2019 20:18

Ready salted potato triangles (also known as Deltas in M&S). Once upon a time most big supermarkets sold them in their own range of snacks, then gradually, one by one, they stopped, until only Tesco was left. Then Tesco stopped too! It’s about 8 or 9 years since but it still hurts.

I have never got over the sad loss of Worcester sauce twiglets

I had only just started to heal and you cruelly remind me 😭😭😭

WoollyMollyMonkey · 26/08/2019 20:29

I want to cry whenever I read “new improved recipe” on stuff I love as I just KNOW they will have spoiled it! Wahh!

Butchyrestingface · 26/08/2019 20:36

This takes me back to er,... IRN BRU CHEWY BARS (you peeps have far more refined tastes than me). Grin

But they brought back Wispas by popular demand, OP, so you never know. Keep shouting at them!
