Lidl. Had the most amazing smoked tuna with wasabi paste. I bought lots. Then they just stopped. No explanation. No goodbyes. No weaning me off.

I asked in store. They don't know. I emailed Lidl. They said they'll ask the buyers. I don't know if they did cos they didn't tell me. But it didn't reappear on the shelves.

I have googled my head off and can not find smoked tuna anywhere.

Help!! Send smoked tuna!

Coconut Feast ice lollies, although I’m starting to think I dreamt them up as no other bugger remembers them!

ClaraThePigeon · 26/08/2019 21:19

Although I don't know if they have MSG but they had multiple pork crunch things before so hopefully you'll find the right one. I want some now.

TheKarateKitty · 26/08/2019 21:20

Agree about LUSH! One of the biggest culprits.

Shisheido blotting papers. I used their original ones for decades as they were the perfect amount of powder transfer and it only took one sheet to blot; they redid them and they’re just not the same.

My favorite popcorn! They have the other flavors in the brand, but all stores stopped carrying my Maple sugar and salt seasoning one. I can order it, but it’s not the same if (period) cravings are yelling at me to get it now. Haha

Thierry Mugler Innocent Secret fragrance. That was nice and lighter than the usual stuff by that line.

Oh, and Dior Tender Poison. Happy memories and nostalgia with that one, as I wore it to my first snowboarding trip.

Tesco sell Polish raspberry jaffa cakes - Wedel is the brand.

ClaraThePigeon · 26/08/2019 21:21

Speaking of discontinued items, I love HB but I'm currently sulking because I haven't been able to get the raspberry and mint filled chocolate bars for a few months now. I can't remember the brand but it's German.

sideorderofchips · 26/08/2019 21:23

Never forgave lush for getting rid of flying fox

Clangus00 · 26/08/2019 21:23

I still crave Thornton’s winter choccies.
They used to come out every November then one year....nothing!

ClaraThePigeon · 26/08/2019 21:25

Böhme. That's the brand. They're also available in lemon and strawberry. I live in hope that they'll return. They're amazing.

Shannaratiger · 26/08/2019 21:26

Tesco stopped doing Free From margarine. Pure changed the recipe for there's and I don't like it. Now having to use Flora, which is not as nice. Sad

Drogosnextwife · 26/08/2019 21:26

Yes! Aldi had a special buy satay dipping sauce thing for about 89p, I used to use it as sauce to make chicken satay, added cram and peanut butter etc, twas delicious and now it's gone!
So many things I have loved over the years have been discontinued.

2ofstedsin24weeksistakingthep · 26/08/2019 21:27

Raspberry Jaffa cakes can be bought in Tesco or Asda from the world food aisle. I bought some recently after a world food aisle thread on here.

Kelsoooo · 26/08/2019 21:29

My local ASDA has a tonne of liquid talc.

Like a full sideframe of the stuff....

Asda are bastards. Helmann's sweetened with honey ketchup, R. Whites lemonade. Can't find them anywhere else in my town. Asda also did own brand vegetarian sausages that were green, can't remember what were in them but they were gorgeous!

And as for Lidl, XXL Gouda. Yes, I can get gouda elsewhere, but all expensive compared to the amazing Lidl XXL pack, which tastes better too!

blibblibs · 26/08/2019 21:34

Was coming on to say Gucci Envy and I see I'm not alone!
What is the imposter you speak of @benjispruce? I've tried the copy from perfume parlour but it's no good Sad

Aldi used to do lovely schnitzel and bratwurst, but sell neither now.

And don't get me started on lush who discontinued the only thing that worked for the psoriasis on my legs. It was called King of skin, was relatively unfragranced and was amazing.

And yea to Worcester sauce twiglets b

yhoughourt · 26/08/2019 21:39

Sainsburys: stopped their TTD Chocolate yoghurt with cherry compote. Fricking amazing. Total bastards.

Also stopped making 'italian' style sausages - normal sausages with fennel etc.

Mrmojorising71 · 26/08/2019 21:41

Victoria Beckham Intimate Perfume, I never thought I'd buy anything Beckham but it was beautiful, I'm still heartbroken over it 😭

Benjispruce · 26/08/2019 21:41

Blibb which version did you get from perfume parlour? I got the spray and the roll-on oil. Both were good but the oil was really good and lasts ages.
The imposter I referred to is Gucci Envy Me.

Clovk · 26/08/2019 21:44

Lidl is not the place to shop if you are upset about stock changes. About 50% of the shop is there for a month and disappears. Just as you discover something ... gone.

Sometimes whole ranges vanish. One week you’ll have 5 frozen stir frys to chose from, the next week you’ll struggle to get frozen peas...

Flibbitygibbit · 26/08/2019 21:48

Sara Lee did this Pecan nut swirl pie thing back in the 90's. Used to have it warm with really thick double cream. I still fantasise about it. It was orgasmic.

ClaraThePigeon · 26/08/2019 21:50

You must take to Twitter, write to The Times or start a petition on Change.org:

HB: Reinstate Bohme Raspberry and Mint Filled Chocolate Bars

I might just do that. This is an incredibly serious matter of national importance.

ymf117 · 26/08/2019 21:50

Pp re the popcorn - M&S do a chocolate coated popcorn and butterkist do a sweet and salty in a yellow bag that is amazing!
