For me it’s buckwheat crackers spread with plain yoghurt, wasabi + sprinkle of salt. It’s GENIUS.

Crunchy peanut butter topped with grated carrot and sprinkled with raisins, on really good wholemeal bread.

V good.

Bananas dipped in coffee

Cream cheese on slices of chorizo

Not that out there but peanut butter topped with sliced banana on wholemeal toast. Food of the Gods! 🍌

@soloula try thick chorizo slices with Castillo pineapple cream cheese. Taste sensation!

@soloula have you tried soft blue cheese rolles into a slice of chorizo? Or the garlic and herb soft cheese, called something like Boursin, in chorizo.

I put cream cheese into chorizo slices, roll them up and stuff them into a chicken breast and bake for 25 mins. Absolutely gorgeous!

Carrot, peeled and dipped in mayo mixed with hot chilli sauce .

Plain old rice cake for me with butter or peanut butter.
My kids love raw broccoli and frozen peas, not complaining there.

Mint Jelly is my favourite OP, but mint sauce also works. Jelly is slightly sweeter.

Goes fab on a Jack spud with lots of butter!

Mashed potato, tonne of lurpak, baked beans, cheese and salad cream. Mixed together into a kind of thick soup.

Cauliflower cheese, cooked until it's really gooey, mushed up in a white bread sandwich with LOADS of butter, ketchup and salt..... 🤤

Ham or chicken slices, drizzled with salad cream and rolled into a tube. I used to eat these after school, when I wasn't allowed crisps

Melting a buttload of grated cheese in a frying pan and melting it till the fat comes out, so it goes crispy. Stick a tortilla wrap on top so it sticks to it. Cook it till it’s seconds from burning. Roll it into a tube. Eat it.

Thin slices of very mature cheddar with sliced (not chopped!) pickled onions on top 😋

Marmite rice cakes and peanut butter

Take a cream cracker, apply tomato ketchup sparingly, top with a thick slice of cheese and microwave for 30-45 seconds.

Flour and water til a dough type thing, then fry it in butter.

Soooooo soooooo nice! My flat mate taught me that when I was in my 20s and I still love it 20 years on! .....

(It's super cheap too! And filling! So all students out there - I totally advise it!!! Especially when you have the munchies!!)

Mackerel pate, on crackers or just spooned into my month. Not really a snack but I have a think for Turkish delight

cold white rice and Encona chilli sauce

White bread dipped in milk or with watermelon.

Sweet strawberries drizzled with balsamic vinegar or black rice vinegar and then dipped in pepper.

Toastie made with cheese, sliced boiled egg, slices of apple and lots of cinnamon on top.

Marks and Spencer cheese tasters and vinegar chipsticks in the same bowl.

I can't decide if some of these sound horrible or really nice!

I used to eat marmalade with lemon juice squeezed onto it when I was hungry and hadn't got much in.

Rice cakes topped with plain cottage cheese and sprinkled with dry roasted peanuts. Yum.
