Mine is a father throwing a drink in his daughter's face. She was about six and had knocked it over after he had queued to get it.

A man slapping his under 2 year old round the face and calling her a fucking cunt

Yes we reported it to social services with his Reg no (camping in a field)

MamaOfBothTeams · 20/08/2019 20:03

They are both horrible, glad you managed to report it @QOD

neverornow · 20/08/2019 20:10

Overhearing a fellow guest plotting a one night stand with a sleazy waiter for later that night ...while her DH stayed in with the kids.

Her DH and children seemed lovely. The waiter looked like a walking STD

tinyme77 · 20/08/2019 20:12

QOD. That is awful. I always think what do these people do behind closed doors if they are prepared to do this in public.

OP posts:
Sallyseagull · 20/08/2019 20:12

People reading the daily mail in broad daylight without caring who sees them Wink

Lipz · 20/08/2019 20:12

A man who kept throwing his toddler into the pool by his arm and leg and the kid kept trying to scramble out crying and the father would do it again and again.

It's usually non eventful where we go in Orlando now but this year an Irish family of about 30 commented on a bag I had the sun creams in ( Irish duty free bag) I thought they were asking if I was Irish, but one woman called me a fuckin knackered for having the bag ! I ignored them but everytime we were in a restaurant they would shout things over to us calling me names, I went out for a smoke and 6 came out to me, 2 young teens got right up into my face asking who did I think I was ..... when i seen them with their suitcases 3 days later i was SO happy. It felt like i was back in school.

DocusDiplo · 20/08/2019 20:15

This is a horrible thread I am going to have to hide it Sad

WindsorDuchess · 20/08/2019 20:16

Not saw but heard. The woman in the room next to us in a hotel in USA screamed at her husband for around an hour about how he was useless and she hated him, he ruined her life she should never have married him. She then started encouraging him to go up to the roof and jump off.

We rang security who said they know and had someone on route to talk with them, when they called to the room she was all sweetness and light and as soon as she closed the door to them started screaming at him again that it was all his fault.

All I ever heard the man do was whimper he was sorry over and over again. He sounded really scared and my heart just broke for him.

independentfriend · 20/08/2019 20:34

Someone hitting a toddler sized child around the head in the swimming pool changing rooms.

BrutusMcDogface · 20/08/2019 20:37

Woah, I thought this was going to be lighthearted...like hogging all the sunbeds type thing...

Fairylea · 20/08/2019 20:39

Wow I thought this was going to be more lighthearted than it is Blush Such awful stories!

Sad
skybluee · 20/08/2019 20:41

In a really posh restaurant, a group of girls and one of them just sitting there with her head in her hands and a stream of vomit pouring out from her mouth to the tiled floor. The table next to it looking on in disgust.

thenightsky · 20/08/2019 20:42

Lipz What on earth? Confused

CoconutAmericano · 20/08/2019 20:43

A woman got up on stage and burned her arm and face with a lit cigarette because she hadn't won the bottle of rum at bingo. She obviously had mental health issues but my daughters were terrified as were the other children and her and her entourage were eventually escorted off the premises to protect the other guests.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 20/08/2019 20:45

I sat at a table in a Turkish hotel and noticed the family next to me were incredibly quiet - mum, Dad, three kids ages 7-12ish. Then I heard one child whisper something and the dad telling him to shut the fuck up, why would anyone be interested in what you have to say etc. The mum tried to say something and got the same treatment only worse. It was heart breaking and went on for about half an hour. I was young (20s) and had no idea what to do about it, but remember thinking the woman looked completely broken and deflated and I was desperate to catch her eye.

CTRL · 20/08/2019 20:46

Bloody hell
Some of these are brutal

NameChangerOfTheNorth · 20/08/2019 20:48

Mine's nowhere near as awful as some of these, but some stupid cow in DisneyLand Paris was complaining (to the people she was there with) about prices being in Euros instead of pounds....

Ponoka7 · 20/08/2019 20:50

One of mine is a Russian Woman stealing anything she could. The set up of her and three male travellers, was a strange one, though. She also used to swim in the pool of a night. They'd pile up their plates and barely eat anything (AI). They were eventually thrown out of the hotel.

Another is a Woman in Marrakech getting absolutely drunk and trying to leave the hotel, to just go out for a walk, at 9.30pm. Security detained her for her own safety.

On Shell Island, a camper bragging that he'd been on television, on the buulders from hell. Then getting to almost falling down drunk and deciding to fight the campsite. He was a big fella and it took about five men to keep him contained before the police came. Before that all the families had been enjoying a drink together.

Goinglive · 20/08/2019 20:52

We set off on holiday on the ferry. Sadly someone was taken very ill and had to be taken off as an emergency. Besides the people taking photos on their phone, there was one guy with a very fancy camera and a zoom lens taking photo after photo of the poor fella being taken off. He even zoomed in to get close ups of the family, who were all understanably distraught.

Lastnightajdsavedmylife · 20/08/2019 20:52

I thought mine was bad seeing a man cutting his toenails poolside and just leaving them but some of these are awful

edwinbear · 20/08/2019 20:53

Coming back from a diving trip, around lunchtime, having left DH in charge of the DC (about 6 & 8). I could see their sunburn glowing from Reception as he’d obviously been lazy with the suncream.

As I approached their loungers, I realised the DC were playing with another family and their DC. Lovely.

Except as I reached the pool, I realised the DM was paralytic drunk. I went to round up DC and move them on, for the woman to start drunkenly telling me she initially thought my DS was ‘a little shit’ but actually he was quite good fun and apologising for calling him a little shit. I glared at DH and announced it was time for us to go to lunch.

She stumbled out of the pool, pulling a parasol into it as she fell back in.

I could not believe I’d been gone a couple of hours and DH had allowed that situation to occur.

Ponoka7 · 20/08/2019 20:54

I unfortunately found myself in Marmaris. A girl of about 15 (they had talked about her going back to school)., lying by me on the beach pointed to a man in his 20's and said, that's the one i was with last night. The Grandmother replied "i don't blame you, i was with him on Tuesday!".

The sights i saw in Marmaris could fill this thread.

AgnesNaismith · 20/08/2019 20:59

Mine is slightly more lighthearted...and sunbed related....

Sleeping on a double daybed at the beach this summer in Greece with DH. I awoke to a Scottish woman having a row with a German woman about the daybed in front. The Germans had left a book on it for hours and not returned....the Scottish (rightly imo) took the book off and started to get comfy, only to be confronted within minutes.

They were rowing and screaming and going at each other, until one point in the conversation:

(S) ‘fucking Germans and your sunbeds’
(G) ‘fucking English!!!’
(S) ‘I’m not fucking English’
(G) ‘I’m so sorry, I didn’t know’
(S) ‘it’s ok’

I just nodded and shrugged....hard to be annoyed when they’ve got a point.

Ninavlog44 · 20/08/2019 21:05

@edwinbear.....that's the best tale - thanks! 😂😂😂

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/08/2019 21:06

I need to hear more about Marmaris.
