My family are well catered for and want for nothing. If I have something particularly delicious I tend to squirrel it away and eat it in secret.
Am I a monster?

@Iamthewombat it doesn't last long enough to absorb horse flavours

Betsy86 · 06/08/2019 20:04

I definitely never ever put a sneaky chocolate bar in my bra as i calmly walk past dd looking like I only have a coffee. Nope has never happend

Iwantacookie · 06/08/2019 20:09

I've just remembered I hid 3 Easter eggs behind my wedding dress. They're still there so I've shared except for the mini eggs

picklemepopcorn · 06/08/2019 20:12

Everyone else has their own snacks, so I do, too!

chilledteacher · 06/08/2019 20:28

Why anyone would hide a chocolate stash and liquorice allsorts in the tea towel drawer is beyond me... ;)

Sexnotgender · 06/08/2019 20:37

Nice to know I’m not the only monster on here!

The salad drawer! Genius!
Off out to stock it up right now! 😂

catwithnohat · 06/08/2019 20:42

Mine has to stash the goodies where I can't reach....I've no self control although I'm better at not eating a whole 6 pack of crisps in one go Confused

PS MNHQ can we have a emoji for shame....as in hangs head in....

icelollycraving · 06/08/2019 20:47

Salad drawer/ bedside cabinet/knicker drawer depending on the treat.

pooopypants · 06/08/2019 20:55

I absolutely do not have a bag of twirls stashed behind the teabag box in the store cupboard. Or another stashed in the crisper drawer in the fridge.

And there is most certainly not a bag of jellies under the hairbrushes and various crap in my bedside drawer. Nope. Not me.

StrongerThanIThought76 · 06/08/2019 21:08

I found a long forgotten half-bag of giant buttons this afternoon at the back of my bedside drawer

they are not there now

mamansnet · 06/08/2019 22:03

I absolutely did not have 2 bars of naice Lindt chocolate hidden behind my Tampax box last week never been so happy to come on my period

Neverender · 06/08/2019 22:09

I have a cheque for £200 hidden behind the pasta - does that count? 😂

Waveysnail · 06/08/2019 22:11

Dh tried to hide chocolate in the cupboard above the cooker - it didnt end well (armature)

Oldieandgoldie · 06/08/2019 22:13

There’s definitely no packs of Twirl bars at the back of the tea towel drawer WinkGrin,

Lovemenorca · 07/08/2019 07:46

@Neverender
Better off cashing it and hiding the cash? Whoever has written the cheque could cancel!

Celticrose · 07/08/2019 08:31

Dh found my 2 bottles of Strawberry Bailey's in the hot pressBlush They were not actually hidden just set inside the door and I meant to hide them better but now worried that this will be the first place he looks now though if he can't see something immediately it's not thereHmm He never goes there but there was something up with the heating and he needed to adjust something. He has now put them somewhere but I will find them still have a bottle in the fridge so not panicking at the moment
They are a very good price in Asda cheaper than Tesco hence the 2 bottles

PaintingOwls · 07/08/2019 09:51

That's dreadful behaviour.

I would NEVER hide chocolate in the empty camomile tea box.

LadyPenelope68 · 07/08/2019 09:57

If you need any tampax or pads in this house, you will most definitely not find some bags of Thorntons chocolates Smile

I definitely don't have a large bar of green and blacks hidden in my gym bag! (Yes I appreciate the irony)

Sexnotgender · 07/08/2019 10:45

Monsters the lot of you Grin poor deprived families Sad

Onescaredmuma · 07/08/2019 13:21

You are all shameful. I haven't hidden anything from my DCs ever, it doesn't make it out of the car park at the shops I clearly don't have your will powerGrin

BruceAndNosh · 08/08/2019 20:36

I have felt very guilty about the chocolate hidden behind the mayonnaise in the fridge.
So I ate it so I am not longer hiding treats.

mumonthehill · 08/08/2019 20:44

“What have you had for tea” answer “ oh you know just toast as none of you were at home” Truth, an M and S meal, a glass of wine and a bag of giant buttons!

Coffeeand2kitkats · 08/08/2019 20:47

So much inspiration on this thread! 🙌🏻🤣
