Old Man Pants

Lighthearted - of course my DP can wear what he wishes and I would never tell him what he can or can’t wear...........

My DP and I have a debate - I think the slips he wears and declares so comfortable are ‘old man pants’. He disagrees and feels that any young man would be pleased to wear such a comfortable pant.

So please, wise ones of mumsnet - AIBU to declare these ‘old man pants’?

My DH is 35 and wears these. He’s large in terms of bollock size and tells me he needs them to prevent from crushing his eggs when he sits 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

They’re awful. Even my dad who was in his nineties wore trunks. Mind, his skinny little legs used to hang out of them but at least he was on the right track. Bless him. 😄

I bought some for DH, when he had his vasectomy :o

ExH swore by them. (They were the least of his faults)

It’s what’s inside them that counts! But l always make an effort with colourful lace knix and expect a man to come nicely presented too.

I ordered some new pants for my FIL on his request recently and they were just like the ones pictured. He is 91 and lives in a care home. So yeah, old man pants.

They are on a par with some of the dull black big M and S Underwear my DW wears! Every single pair the same. Sigh. Bring back the days of her twenties! She is only 43!!

After rummaging in the charity bag, I had a pair of these "Harvest Festivals" (gather everything in) thrown in my face one day while being asked who they belonged to. I had to remind my exH that they were his post vasectomy pants.

DF threw out all of his boxers about two years ago and started buying briefs, he said boxers don't give him enough support 🤢 (not envy), he is 67 and also dries them on the washing line
