To ask what have u done today that most MNters would be 🤯 at?

This is lighthearted but seen lots of threads today about leaving kids alone etc.

Today after a trip out and being exhausted I let my toddler watch TV for about 3 hours!
Whilst my teen had lots of screen time.

I. Also needed some bits at shop and dd was in just a nappy and cba to dress her. So I let my teen (13) sit with her with her whist I ran over.. The shop is in sight..

Im getting take away for the 2nd night in a row.
Both kids have had a fair amount of junk.. Crisps. Cheddars. Cake 2 ice creams and ice lolly.

And I've used my washing machine for such small loads. And re washed the bedding that was washed Tuesday. Because wanted to get as much as I can done and dried before the weekend and dp being off next week to have family time..
And when it cools down I'm going to iron it all lol.

We have been to a paddli g pool 1st thing and local park this eve.

I'm still wearing the knickers I wore yesterday and slept in last night. In fact, part from briefly putting jeans on to walk the dog, I'm still in my pyjamas as well. This is not an everyday occurrence though, in fact, I can't remember the last time I did this.

Yeah why does line drying make your towels stiff?!!!!!

Don’t know - but it does. It really does. Only the tumble dryer makes them fluffy!

Rough towels means too much washing powder. It’s detergent residue.

I slept outdoors and didn't go in when it rained on me. Better to be cool and wet than hot and dry! DP thinks I'm mad. So does the 19yo. The 13yo is not sure - she slept out with me but kept asking if I didn't think we should go in when we were soaked. I just told her to suit herself, but I was staying put!

Swam at the beach out of our depth in lots of waves again.

Bought meat at Walmart.

Other than that I actually had quite a MN-approved day today.

Haven't put suncream on DS, ever

Bought plastic straws and plastic cups for visitors and neighbours kids when they need a drink of juice

DS has been on the iPad pretty much all evening each day because why the fuck not

Cut my grass at 9pm because it was cooler (in shorts and a bralet - no shoes)

Ordered a lot of take out because I cba to cook

Left my 2yo indoors with all of the windows and doors open while I sunbathed - he was babysat by YouTube

Drank alcohol on Thursday from 1pm while in charge of said 2yo

Taken DS to the shop in just a nappy

I have worn nothing but a strappy thin long top that barely covers my ass and boobs to go out in - if I'd have bent over I'm sure you'd have seen my cervix

Bought small earrings as a present for my unborn niece as she is having her ears done as soon as she has her injections - along with a bottle of wine for SIL to drink once she has had baby.

Stood outside in the storm chain smoking and drinking

Left DS in the bath while I answered the door to the take away

DH has ordered a lazy spa

I'm a SAHM

Can't drive

Use a loo brush

I iron

I can't make a chicken last more than 1 meal for 2 adults - the rest goes to the (un neutered) cats

Just has jogged my memory: I'm 52 and I don't drive, have never even had a lesson. My DH, who I've been with for 10 years, is a driving instructor.
