Will not stoop in persecuting Brexiteers. Childish namecalling 'thick', 'racist' 'gammon', and now the vexatious private prosecution against Boris Johnson which was quashed before it even got to court.

Yes poor multi-millionaire, sacked twice for lying, paid for a journalist to get knee-capped, spent £53m of taxpayers money on a bridge that was never built Boris.

Yes evil remainers desperately worried about the NHS, their jobs, rights and the decades of continued austerity as a result of a weakened economy.

TwistedBiscuit · 07/06/2019 18:33

Poor Boris. I’m glad he has someone thinking of him OP.

Patroclus · 07/06/2019 18:34

Lol ok Jesus.

DorisDaysDadsDogsDead · 07/06/2019 18:39

Well, Dana, you're hardly dispelling the stereotype you mention...

Dana28 · 07/06/2019 18:40

Doesn't matter how much money you have. A vexatious private prosecution is vert6 stressful for anyone. And yes it is persecution

Paid for a journalist to get kneecapped????

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 07/06/2019 18:42

Riiiggght

So one imagines you mean SOME remainers

Cos ive had fuck all to do with ANY of that

BarbarianMum · 07/06/2019 18:43

Poor Boris. What is the world coming to when politicians are challenged for lying.

Why will no one think of the privileged. Sad

RosaWaiting · 07/06/2019 18:43

I have to say, I'm really baffled by this

no matter what I think of Boris and the Garden Bridge, this surely is the definition of vexatious? Targeting one person out of however many signed off on the slogan or were happy to represent it?

Hoppinggreen · 07/06/2019 18:44

I personally would sink to pretty much any depths to save this country from the shit show that is Brexit.
We will actually be unaffected and if not we have the means (and passports) to leave but even so I fear from the people not as fortunate as us so if there was a guaranteed way to stop it (even if that was to vote for Corbyn) then I would do it

NoBaggyPants · 07/06/2019 18:45

To be clear, it is Johnson's lawyers that have called the claim vexatious, not the court.

Do you not believe politicians should be held accountable for blatant lies?

Girlundercover · 07/06/2019 18:48

What’s the kneecapping situation???Shock

feathermucker · 07/06/2019 18:51

I've heard remainders called all sorts of disgusting names.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 07/06/2019 18:52

So have i feather

ForalltheSaints · 07/06/2019 18:54

There were particular reasons why the person making the court action chose Boris Johnson, which were legitimate ones. The court has made its decision, and it will be interesting to see the reasons when they are published.

The kneecapping issue was a recording of a phone conversation in 1990 with Darius Guppy.

Jaxhog · 07/06/2019 18:55

I get accused of being stupid for being a Remainer!

It seems that its ok for vindictive Brexiteers to try and get their hard working MPs sacked, but not me for saying what I think.

Sticks and stones.

FatherBuzzCagney · 07/06/2019 18:57

What’s the kneecapping situation???

There wasn't one. I assume the reference is to the recording of Johnson offering to help his good mate, violent fraudster Darius Guppy, get a journalist beaten up.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 07/06/2019 18:57

Racist
Traitor

Those are bandied about on a regular basis

moonrises · 07/06/2019 19:03

And yet it is the remainers that are called the moaners Hmm

Brexiters need to start answering some of the questions and concerns rather than parroting 'leave means leave'

dreichuplands · 07/06/2019 19:03

Those remainers sinking to the depths of requesting the law is followed and applying to the courts when they feel it hasn't. Are there any greater depths?
Maybe if there wasn't a legal system it would better for everyone?
Maybe if judges didn't have the authority to look at individual cases and make their own decisions?
The law case was very unlikely to get far and it didn't but access to the courts is part of a functional democracy.

dreichuplands · 07/06/2019 19:05

Dana if you are BJ's new squeeze I'd leave now, he treats his women as badly as everyone else.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 07/06/2019 19:05

A lot of remainers are really filled with hate. They would rather destroy this country than let us have our freedom back again.

RosaWaiting · 07/06/2019 19:07

"There were particular reasons why the person making the court action chose Boris Johnson, which were legitimate ones."

are there any links, thanks in advance.

re do I think politicians should be held accountable - not through the court system. Would we take them to court every time they didn't follow through on a manifesto item, how would we decide that circumstances had or hadn't sufficiently changed etc.

I completely get the anger at being lied to but I don't think this kind of action helps the case.

wouldn't it make more sense to crowdfund for a second referendum that would be legally binding instead of advisory?

our whole political system needs a revamp - I mean, he seems to have spent all that money on the bridge within his remit! So clearly there's a lot of political power that needs to be curbed everywhere.

florentina1 · 07/06/2019 19:09

Boris wasted money Not just on the Bridge . What about the money wasted money on the long buses that could not navigate the London Streets, caused accidents and were a gift to fare dodgers.

RosaWaiting · 07/06/2019 19:09

PS if you can't already tell, I have a lot of anger towards Johnson but I just can't see how this is the way to deal with the problem of him and his ilk. Not a lawyer so very happy to hear any ideas of how to deal with him and his ilk effectively!!!
