What are people’s views on this. It’s the middle of the night, DP has number two then comes back to bed completely naked. I find this unhygienic. I would never do that, would at least put a pair of pants on and defo have a mini shower (of private area) if sex was on the cards.
Am I being silly or does anyone else find the action gross?! Love him to bits but I don’t like when he does this at all Shock

Oh I see. The sewage companies should have invested in and promoted it. They aren't keen on the wet wipes.

If you can't trust him to wipe properly, how can you trust him to shower properly?

And I do hope all the wet wipe proponents on here aren't flushing them down the loo.

Doesn’t the spritz make the toilet roll disintegrate? I’ve seen it in Sainsbury’s but always imagine ending up with bit of wet toilet roll clogged round my bum.

I trust my partner to wipe his arse properly. If you don't know dh is wiping properly you've got bigger problems. Does he have form for not wiping like an adult?

I always go for a poo before bed, I also always sleep naked. If I had poo on my hand I would wash it off with soap and water, the same applies to my arse.

Toilet bum guns are your friend.

Does he have a history of inadequate wiping? Do you have a history of sleeping with men who are unable to clean themselves properly? Is there some kind of traumatic back story for context?

I have always been under the impression that it's normal to wet loo paper and clean that way. Dry wipe, wet wipe, dry wipe is a good combo Smile.

Absolutely not!! Despite what it might say on the packaging, wet wipes are most definitely not flushable! I try to minimise my use of loo paper by using a bidet. The less non-body-generated stuff that gets flushed down our drains, the better!

We sleep naked but always have a bath or shower before bed. Neither of us then poos in the night. Just don’t get the urge.
This house has a fancy loo with a heated seat, illuminated bowl so you don’t have to put the light on in the night, and a remote control for adjusting the (warm) water jet that will wash your jacksy for you post-poo. It is ludicrous.

I can’t believe some posters shower after a poo!! Who has time for that?
We use wet wipes in our house after a poop, don’t flush them, they go in a poop bag and into the bathroom bin.
I’ve lived with a couple of men during my lifetime and have never encountered skiddy sheets.

People on mumsnets are incredibly anal (snicker) about 'hygiene'. Honestly.. If you can't trust your DP to wipe his bum and wash his hands after going to the toilet then I suspect your relationship has bigger issues.
