What are people’s views on this. It’s the middle of the night, DP has number two then comes back to bed completely naked. I find this unhygienic. I would never do that, would at least put a pair of pants on and defo have a mini shower (of private area) if sex was on the cards.
Am I being silly or does anyone else find the action gross?! Love him to bits but I don’t like when he does this at all Shock

Blimey, it's like poo crumbs all over again Grin

This is pretty funny. OP have you ever travelled, backpacked, gone camping, been to festivals, experienced a road trip, or just had your hot water fail?

the bacteria from his bum would get on the sheets when he was on his back.

How? I don’t think that my bum hole actually comes in contact with my bedsheets, especially when I’m lying on my back.

For those of you worried about cystitis - stop wearing knickers 24 hours a day as you are creating a nice warm, moist bacterial heaven in there. Also, don't overdo the soap - it upsets the natural flora and fauna of your nether regions and can thus contribute to the problem by leaving you far more vulnerable to the sort of bacteria that commonly cause bladder infections (and thrush). Wipe from front to back, drink plenty, and pee after having sex (preferably not on the bedsheets Grin). Finally, unless you are rubbing your urethra up and down very hard on the bedsheets in the exact spot your husband's arse has just been skidding vigorously along the bedsheets, don't assume his naked arse having been in the bed is a cause of cystitis.

Walkaround · 29/05/2019 08:57

(Ps not meaning to imply thrush is a bacterial infection - fungal infections like warm and moist, too)

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 29/05/2019 12:01

Do the people who think toilet paper is inadequate, and you need a shower after every poo think that the rest of us go round leaving skid marks everywhere? Or do you believe us when we say that we can wipe well enough to stay clean and pleasant?

Because I promise you that the latter is perfectly possible - it is what I manage on a daily basis, despite having an inflammatory bowel condition that can mean me having the runs up to 8 times a day (such fun - not). And dh and the dses manage it too - I have never seen a skid mark on their sheets or underwear (not that I inspect it deliberately, you understand, but I think it's the sort of thing I would have noticed). We don't smell bad either.

Slightly bewildered by all the people who think that only bums harbour bacteria. If you're that worried about your partners' bacteria getting onto the bedding, you need to make them go to bed clothed from head to toe in a biohazard suit complete with a mask to cover their faces.

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 29/05/2019 17:00

But how? Would his penis reach up through his bum crack and rummage around in his anus? Like an elephant's trunk

have absolutely killed me today 😆

Most "flushable" wipes shouldn't actually be flushed... these ones are properly flushable as just made from toilet paper.
