I know it looks as if Brexit have won but in every single case, if you add up all the votes secured by the other parties then together they have more votes than Brexit. That means more people want to remain in Europe than Leave.

I’m a rabid Remainer, I would like to believe what you’re saying but it doesn’t make any sense. I don’t get the logic, and I don’t care if Alastair Campbell or the Lib Dema say so, it doesn’t make it true.

Of course everyone who voted for the Brexit Party wants Brexit, but the other parties aren’t called Remain. It wasn’t Leave vs Remain. I voted Labour, but Labour aren’t saying they will Remain, the vote is split like with the Conservatives.

Op I’m a remainer
And I feel embarrassed on your behalf. No wonder people think we are entitled middle class twats.

IWannaSeeHowItEnds · 27/05/2019 01:23

You are just embarrassing yourself now OP. Exclude actual adults from voting and allow children to vote instead? There really are no depths to which you won't sink, in order to get your own way. Fuck democracy, right?

WhiteRedRose · 27/05/2019 01:24

OP has clearly been smoking crack 😳

Dana28 · 27/05/2019 01:24

The single issue leave vote is Brexit, the single issue remain is change uk

Antigonads · 27/05/2019 01:24

10 year olds are well educated?

Now I know you are taking the piss.

Shoppingwithmother · 27/05/2019 01:25

Exactly Dana - 32% vs 3%

sweeneytoddsrazor · 27/05/2019 01:25

I'm sure there are many intelligent 10 year olds but most of them would happily vote for the local ice cream man if he promised to turn up at school with free 99s every lunch time.

Justbreathing · 27/05/2019 01:25

@Dana28
No that’s clearly not the case.
I voted remain. I struggled between 3 parties.
If you want hard brexit you had one choice.

Shinesweetfreedom · 27/05/2019 01:26

Have you been drinking op and can’t see the screen clearly.
Put the gin down there’s a love

Shoppingwithmother · 27/05/2019 01:26

I think the OP means that 10year olds are well educated when compared to her. You know.... with their adding up skills etc

usernameuser · 27/05/2019 01:26

I think it's more than a draw-it's at least that and many commentators on the BBC are saying that.

How about you try having your own opinion instead of believing what others say? 🐑

usernameuser · 27/05/2019 01:27

😂

Justbreathing · 27/05/2019 01:28

@usernameuser
There’s this thing called maths
And as far as I know. Maths aren’t fake news.

NunoGoncalves · 27/05/2019 01:28

Does it even matter? The vote was for positions in an institution we're set to leave. Who cares who got the seats?

donotcovertheradiator · 27/05/2019 01:31

They haven't had a reprieve in my mind but I can see I'm on my own with that. I don't want my future decided by a 90 year old!!!

Anyway, the BBC is our national broadcaster and if they are saying that, at best, it is a draw then I'm happy to believe them. Anyway, I can see the clear figures for myself! It still looks like a Remain Win to me.

This will lead to a People's Vote Thank goodness, we won't be silenced any more.

Dana28 · 27/05/2019 01:33

One thing's for sure, neither Labour or Conservative are going to have much appetite for a GE at the moment

Justbreathing · 27/05/2019 01:34

Jesus you’re not helping yourself.
My 92 yr old grandmother voted remain

sweeneytoddsrazor · 27/05/2019 01:34

OP whatever you are drinking add more water to it. There will not be another vote.

Shoppingwithmother · 27/05/2019 01:34

We already had a “people’s vote”

If they do have another referendum it is probable that the result would be the same - what the fuck do we do then?

laburnumtree · 27/05/2019 01:35

Well my 10yo has read all the election leaflets we've had through the door which is probably more than many adults have done and insisted on staying up to watch the results - he would be v keen to vote. You wouldn't like it though OP - he would vote for leave - no doubt influenced by me although I've not sought to do so.

It is a silly policy though - and why cut off at 70? So the new MEP Ann Widdecombe could be an MEP but not vote ConfusedHmm

PaulHollywoodsleftbollockhair · 27/05/2019 01:35

We have already had a people’s vote......it was to leave....

DuffBeer · 27/05/2019 01:36

"The Change Party is spot on. Have a people's Vote. let anyone over 10 vote and barr those aged over 70".......

Wow, how very progressive of them. We might as well just kill off all the over 70's. what use are they to anyone?!

Dana28 · 27/05/2019 01:36

I voted remain. I struggled between 3 parties.
Why didn't you vote for the single issue change UK? .
