To have a third child just to have a girl?

I know I'm being completely ridiculous!

I dream of having a daughter. My mum and I used to collect dolls and say I would pass them down to my daughter (it was more my mum's thing than mine but I liked the idea of it). I get so jealous when I see little girl clothing. We have boys and they're lovely but I really, really want a girl.

AIBU to have us try in hopes that we get a girl?

My friend did this, had a third child to try for a girl, got pregnant, with twin boys. So 4 boys in total - her house is like a mad house Grin

haha! I was about to come here just to say "This is how you end up with twin boys", but I see a ton of people have beaten me to it Grin

Please do not believe it’s a 50/50 chance that you’ll have a girl. That may scientifically NOT be true. Studies show now that it’s completely dependent on your husband’s sperm and genetics, based on a study of over 550,000 people, and if he comes from a family with brothers instead of sisters, for instance, and has already produced two sons, you are much more likely to have another boy, because he is likely producing more Y-chromosome sperm.
