I don't wash my feet either. I do not get smelly or dirty feet. I am standing it soapy water or laying in it when I have a bath.

OwlBeThere · 13/05/2019 00:54

well, yes but only in so much as i shave them when i'm in the shower so i use shampoo to do that. but if for whatever reason i could be bothered to shave, i wouldn't no. i don't deliberately wash my legs in the same way i would deliberately wash my arm pits because surely the water and soap run down them anyway?

JaneJeffer · 13/05/2019 01:06

wouldn't want to get smell--knee Me neither DpWm Grin

I clean every bit of myself in the shower otherwise what's the point of having one?

NunoGoncalves · 13/05/2019 01:35

It's misleading to say you don't wash your legs when what you mean is you don't rub soap into them directly with your hands.

I do wash my legs, by virtue of being in the shower with hot soapy water running over them for a good 10 minutes or so.

EddyF · 13/05/2019 01:53

This is why it's so difficult being on public transport; people are so stinky but they will swear they smell fresh. I'm even wary of eating in people's home due to their hygiene habits . How can women on here be so comfortable expressing they don't wash their whole body? There so many products for sensitive skin there is no excuse for poor hygiene. There is always a whiff on them but they're clueless and think they smell clean.its so disgusting to me.

Seahorseshoe · 13/05/2019 02:35

Only if I'm shaving my legs.

notangelinajolie · 13/05/2019 02:37

Yes.

TooManyPaws · 13/05/2019 02:39

Wash everything, including my back. I'm amazed that so many people seem never to have heard of a back brush.

My father remembered people at sea who didn't wash all over being scrubbed with a deck brush in the communal shower. No putting up with stink in the close confines of a ship.

Bifflepants · 13/05/2019 02:48

Only if they have mud on them or something. Otherwise I just leave it up to the water and soap running down them. It's not like they get smelly or dirty? I always wash my feet.

Passthecherrycoke · 13/05/2019 02:59

I don’t think so (I’m hugely pregnant atm and can’t reach or bend over- but if I remember rightly I don’t think I did) the soap runs down them, I don’t see what difference pushing it around my legs with my hand would make.

I shower at least daily, often twice, so it’s not possible for any bit of me to be dirty.

BrightOink · 13/05/2019 03:44

No. I soap up and wash torso, back, chest, face, armpits etc and nether regions and feet. I don't actively apply and scrub soap off of arms and legs as water and suds is enough. I towel down, and moisturise. I don't smell and skin is healthy, scale free and clean!

pink412 · 13/05/2019 05:12

Yes all the time. I have major spinal issues and in pain a lot a hot shower helps so much and let’s me move more easily so when I can I move and am so greatful I can I take full advantage of it. This is one thing which makes me mad and upset the I see people with no mobility issues and just don’t move you really do need to once you can’t it’s so debilitating it’s not fun and very upsetting

RedRiverShore · 13/05/2019 05:42

Probably not properly as the soap just runs down them, I only properly wash them if I have suntan cream on or they have actual visible dirt on them, likewise my arms

notso · 13/05/2019 06:43

I wash everything with a flannel. I don't think just standing there or sitting in water gets you clean.
I used to do that when I was about 10 and hated any sort of cleansing, when I dried my self little rolls of dead skin formed.
My younger kids do the same and come out of the shower with muddy legs.

Laura221 · 13/05/2019 06:43

No. How dirty do you think you all get? 🙄 I generally bathe and shave my legs every couple of days so by default they get cleaned then.

Ihatehashtags · 13/05/2019 06:44

No. They done get dirty and the suds and water run all over them

MaybeitsMaybelline · 13/05/2019 06:47

Always, and I wash my feet afterwards and between my toes. I don’t have smelly feet either.

I follow it up with all over in shower moisturiser from Nivea too as my skin is dry now I’m older and I can’t stand body lotion.

Oblomov19 · 13/05/2019 06:48

No. Not really. I never really realised this until this thread!

MariaNovella · 13/05/2019 06:52

Yes. I wash all over with a soft organic exfoliating mitt and liquid Marseille soap. This means I don’t have to moisturize all over every day.

KatherineJaneway · 13/05/2019 07:08

Yes of course. Had no idea other people didn't wash properly tbh.

SunshineCake · 13/05/2019 07:08

I wash everything and now I'm buying a exfoliating glove as I think it will be cheaper and work better than my sanctuary body scrub.

EggysMom · 13/05/2019 07:13

I'd never thought of this - I wash every bit i can reach with the puff/sponge, and then use a long-handled brush on my back.

missmouse101 · 13/05/2019 07:18

Yes, every day, all over body in the shower and moisturise after drying. Why would people miss bits out?

feelingverylazytoday · 13/05/2019 07:30

Yes, I wash everything, I thought that was the whole point of having a shower.
I hope those people who don't wash all over aren't the same people who slag other people off for just having a strip or basin wash. Because that would be hypocritical.

Callistone · 13/05/2019 07:42

So now we're supposed to exfoliate our whole body and moisturise every day? Confused

Looks like about half the posters don't always wash their legs, and as I'm sure half the people you meet on a daily basis don't make you recoil in horror at their unwashed knee smell, I think it might be alright...
