so was reading an online news article about a twitter thread,in which people said they did not wash legs in the shower.I am confused why you would leave them out.Is this a thing? one woman said she only washed them when she shaved!Do you wash your legs in the shower?

Some people also stink because they don't change their clothes. Clothes absorb smells even if they're clean. Have you ever smelled your top after cooking or smoking cigarettes? If you're next to that person you may think the person hasn't washed for some time.

FarTooMuchWashing · 13/05/2019 21:08

Well, the water runs over them as I shower (you know, gravity). Does that count?

iamkayleigh · 13/05/2019 23:44

Of course! They have to be exfoliated and moisturised

OldAndWornOut · 13/05/2019 23:46

Or if you wash properly.

Dimebag10M · 13/05/2019 23:49

I pumice my skin all over and occasionally make myself bleed 😞

crazyasafox · 13/05/2019 23:50

PMSL at Loose Women stealing this story for their shitty show! Grin

It's bad enough that Vanessa Feltz has stolen AIBU (for This Morning...)

I find this whole discussion quite bizarre. How can you NOT wash your legs FGS? Confused

EugenesAxe · 14/05/2019 00:08

Unless I’m sweaty from exercise I only wash my bits daily, and shower every two days, but when I do I use a body scourer and I apply circular motions to pretty much every bit of skin. From just washing after swimming I know that if I don’t scour, the skin sloughs off when I’m towelling dry. I always moisturise after showering.

sykadelic · 14/05/2019 02:07

No, I don't. Maybe once in a while. I wash what sweats, as you're "supposed to".

see #5 in this link:

I add under and between boobs of course.

OwlBeThere · 14/05/2019 02:42

I hope to god you aren’t putting soap up/exfoliating your fucking labia. Sad

motherheroic · 14/05/2019 06:35

@OwlBeThere That wouldn't be very sensible would it.

pink412 · 14/05/2019 06:55

Now it seems it’s jumped to twitter

JaneJeffer · 14/05/2019 08:05

It started on Twitter that's why OP asked on here.

OwlBeThere · 14/05/2019 08:20

@motherheroic...no, so what does your labia have to do with a discussion on washing your legs/exfoliating?

llamawearingasombrero · 14/05/2019 08:33

I don't scrub them but they are not dirty.

QueenBeex · 14/05/2019 08:41

Not in the shower. In the bath I do.

Tangofandango · 14/05/2019 10:56

This is now being discussed on BBC Radio Solent.

Itssosunny · 14/05/2019 12:04

Has anyone tried those special creams to rejuvenate the skin on feet?

do you wash your legs
JaneJeffer · 14/05/2019 12:58

I feel ill.

Itssosunny · 14/05/2019 14:14

thecatsthecats · 14/05/2019 14:37

I give my whole body a szush over with a bath pouffe, but I DON'T use soap anywhere.

A rinse gets rid of surface sweat, and a scrub gets rid of anything more persistent/dead cells.

I use soap/sanitiser for hands, hair stuff also (though going to try out shampoo free once I'vegot a bob), and deodorise.

Gigglinghysterically · 16/05/2019 09:32

Looks like this thread has been picked up by Jeremy Vine show. Being discussed in a short while on the channel 5 show.

FriedEggs1 · 16/05/2019 09:32

Jeremy Vine show is to have a phone-in on this topic right now! 😂

FriedEggs1 · 16/05/2019 09:33

Whoops Gigglinghysterically cross posted 😁

AliceRR · 16/05/2019 09:44

I was everything and find it odd that others don’t

All these dry skin comments, that’s what moisturiser is for. I get dry skin in my face, doesn’t stop me washing my face 🤔

AliceRR · 16/05/2019 09:46

I mean I wash* everything 😬
