Husband Business trip Bangkok

My husband has insisted he needed to go on a work trip to Bangkok. From find my iPhone app I have found out he spent the first night in a go-go dancer/sex club. He left for a short period of time with drew £500 and returned. We have been married for 18 years and I feel absolutely disgusted by this. I am considering hiring a private detective to see what he gets up to. Any advice/thoughts greatly appreciated.

I hate it when people say dummy thread or its not true. I posted the other day and had the same said about my post and it genuinely was 100% true

HumptyNumptyNooNoo · 12/05/2019 08:58

Oh gosh. Well as you've already told the children I assume there's no going back now. It's game over. So just try to divide up assets as fairly as you can and get on with a new life without eachother . He's been a fool and now he pays the real price. Good luck to you both in your new lives.

LaLaLamp · 12/05/2019 09:07

sorry didn't mean to cause offence, just felt I'd invested a lot of time reading it and then it didn't really add up with the op telling her kids their father had been unfaithful. I know people do do things like this in anger but I dunno, maybe it's just me being cynical for once Blush

He has n't necessarily spent all the money in one night. Would people forgive if just looking

No

Onecutefox · 12/05/2019 10:18

Depends on the age of OP's children.

Why would you tell the children before he's even home?!

Crikey, he confessed easily! How upsetting for you.

Who even says "Go-Go Girls"?

Very 1960s.

My mother the uber nercissist would delight in telling us if my father had transgressed, even if he had only poured the tea out into a cup wrongly

GladAllOver · 12/05/2019 15:38

So sorry to read this OP.
He has ended your marriage. If you think he might have done anything like this before you do need to have a test.
