to be super puzzled why my elbow stinks

what on earth...... I am clean. I am always clean. However for the past few days my right elbow (the crook of it) has been omitting a god awful stench. I can't wash it off. It is foul.

It smells like feet and rot and awfulness. There is no broken skin, it just looks like a normal elbow. WTF.

why is this happening? anyone got any ideas? soap isn't doing anything!

How many others reading this thread have had a smell of their elbow? (Sorry is someone already asked this. I have not read all)

Did you know that some people can smell illnesses before they are diagnosed. Even though it sounds a bit bizarre you really should see your doc.

@allergy55 that's what I thought too but was worried I would sound like I was being dramatic!

I would never call my arm crease my elbow, or ‘inner elbow’ it is blowing my mind that other people would refer to it that way. I guess elbow crease makes sense, but for my whole life this part of my body has always been one of those bits with no name!

When looking for a baby sling the lady demonstrating them had a heavy French accent and kept saying “Nippit” over and over. Took me two hours to realise she was saying “knee pit” - another area that was simply called ‘the back of my knee’

Neither of my elbows smell, both the hand lick and the ear ridge tests were clear but my belly button is faintly cheesy. What does this mean?!

In other news, my dog's paws smell of popcorn.

I'd ask a pharmacy person and get them to smell it!!

Back of ear: no stink but faint smell of hair oil

Belly button : no smell at all

Back of knee ; no smell

Elbow: vinegar city

I'm sure baths are better than showers for making sure belly buttons are clean ... no cotton buds needed

I looked up Hibiscrub, being curious, and the product info on Boots website casually tells you not get it in contact with brain. (I know it makes sense in hospital/surgery use, but still surprising... usually it's just "rinse if gets in your eyes")
