People are so weird about MM on here. I’m no royalist but a baby is a happy occasion for most families.

I hope your post gets deleted DSHathaway that's really cruel way to speak about a woman days PP.

Ghanagirl · 08/05/2019 13:57

@Dandelion1993
Isn’t that what certain posters have been baying for?

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 08/05/2019 13:58

Congratulations. MN has reached rock bottom
Yep, agree, and it’s a crowded field tbh.

dinosbuddy · 08/05/2019 13:58

Fucking hell. All those criticising her weight, let's see your post birth photos then...

It's idiotic and potentially really damaging for any new mums reading this to see ridiculous comments and jibes about her weight 2 days postpartum.

Sagradafamiliar · 08/05/2019 13:58

I'm so chuffed for them.

CallMeRachel · 08/05/2019 14:02

I think they all look lovely. Meghan looks like a beautiful new Mum nervous and protective of her little boy.

She looks amazing. Give her a break, some of the comments on here are shameful and disgusting.

phoenixrosehere · 08/05/2019 14:03

I think they did it the right way. They got it over with and didn’t have baby outside unnecessarily. They didn’t have reporters swarming the hospital likely making it difficult for other pregnant women and their families to get through or other patients. Won’t have to deal with reporters following them from the hospital to the castle, etc.. Unfortunately, people will find fault no matter what and that says more about them than Harry and Meghan. The more people like this complain, the more I like the couple.

She’s just given birth, it’s not on criticising her size.

goldenchicken · 08/05/2019 14:05

Sooooooooooooooo cute. Grin

Wish peeps would halt the white dress comments.

So much to celebrate - a healthy baby, it matters not a jot what she wears.

Teddybear45 · 08/05/2019 14:06

They all looked gorgeous as a family.

beenhereages1 · 08/05/2019 14:07

Aww sweet little boy

RChick · 08/05/2019 14:07

Some people are vile.

StickyBlisteredAnus · 08/05/2019 14:08

Can’t believe the people that infect mumsnet these days.

First everyone is up in arms because she’s “breaking traditions” by demanding privacy and then they’re up in arms because she’s following traditions. The woman can’t win.

She’s just had her first baby and is showing him off as expected. So fucking what. Why so bitter and jealous?

“Looks like a baby but posher”
“Kate won this round”
“Dress isn’t very flattering”

Fuck off! Leave her alone ffs

goldenchicken · 08/05/2019 14:08

@DSHathawayGivesMeFannyGallops

You are a disgrace. Shame on you. Vile comments about a beautiful young woman who gave birth TWO DAYS AGO.

Get in the bin! Hmm

Cherrytreesa · 08/05/2019 14:08

Jesus, remember when you could make a little light joke on MN without being torn to shreds

Yes. It's so tedious now isn't it? And always the same people being offended/ contrary/ know it alls.

TruffleShuffles · 08/05/2019 14:09

I feel rather sorry for Meghan, she doesn’t look comfortable at all. Kate set an almost impossible image of perfection after giving birth and everyone will compare whether that is right or wrong.

They should have just released a picture of the baby and given mum some recovery time, maybe even just had Harry parading him.

RedSheep73 · 08/05/2019 14:10

Give a fuck? and why in aibu?

Hammondisback · 08/05/2019 14:10

I’m not a royalist, but think they are a lovely, inspiring couple, who deserve happiness. They both looked a bit nervous, but so happy, just as any new parents would be. Meghan, IMO, looked stunning - not that that’s a prerequisite - she’s just had a baby FFS! However, she was radiant and gracious and Harry was great, as he always is Flowers

What was the joke?
