I hope this puts some of the ridiculous surrogate rumours to rest - she has clearly given birth. She seemed quite nervous and endearing they both did.

She is damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t. A poster yesterday was criticising the fact that they haven’t shown him yet and today when they do MM is again criticised. She really can’t win. I don’t blame them for moving to SA. I really don’t understand the hate.

He's very cute. Don't envy Meghan though, I remember day 2 with ds1 and it was when the post birth euphoria had worn off and I just felt leaky and knackered.

Oh god I don't care about the royals but can no one give the poor pair a rest. They get hassle for parading the baby and hassle for wanting privacy. Is it crazy of them to see how they feel when the bloody baby is there, see how the birth went. Prepare people the media to not see the baby straight away then show the baby if they feel up to it.

I do think all these comparisons to KM are just a media induced fake controversy.

They seem like a nice couple and it's a sweet baby. Like they always are when they are 2 days old.

I really don't get the antipathy from some people on here.

And they will have done the photos to get the press off their back for the time being.

I assume OP is referring to the one that got deleted yesterday where the poster was complaining that we shouldn’t fund Harry and Megan if they refused to share photos etc.

I don't blame them at all for doing things the way they have, he hasn't had hundreds of the world's press surrounding him all grubbing for a look. They had a few in a familiar environment. Albeit a castle.

Like them or loathe them I think they're going to bring changes to the way things are done. Particularly for the children, who lets face it, don't ask to be born into any of this.

Megan looked like she was ready to burst into tears bless her. She looked very nervous and not as happy as I thought she would look. Her dress was awful and looked very uncomfortable. Infact she looked very uncomfortable and not as relaxed as Kate

They look really relaxed especially Meghan and so so happy.
They will be criticised for whatever they do but ultimately they are proud new parents who want to enjoy their new son. Good for them!

It's a cute baby with happy parents. Lovely, very happy for them.

Why are people so unpleasant?

They got a lot of stick for their original press release but basically they wanted to avoid a circus outside the hospital and have a few days of peace. I can’t see how anyone can blame them for that.

Lovely baby. I just wish they could have been able to sit down. Very uncomfortable looking.
