40 pages of spite isn't enough for you?

Vulpine · 23/04/2019 22:17

Yes yabu

BellMcEnd · 23/04/2019 22:17

Ed Sheeran’s music is dire (but I’m sure he’s a lovely person)

I truly do not get GoT. I’ve see one episode and it was fucking horrific.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 23/04/2019 22:18

Go for it
Let ignore all the well I never heard such a thing.faux indignation
So...
mooncups are minging
No,not all men are narcissistic and habitually saying it won’t make it so
Cloth bummed is such a cutesy wutsey annoying phrase.its a nappy on an arse.keep it in perspective
Baby wearing is a wanky cliquey term. You own a sling.big whoop di doo

Sarahlou63 · 23/04/2019 22:19

You should be able to drive as fast as you like and the road allows.

JoyceDivision · 23/04/2019 22:20

I think people should demonstrate much more kindness and caring in daily life. Random acts of kindness make lovely threads but it is sad they are becoming so unexpected and / or rare that they are a suprise to hear about.

Frozen mash is wonderful. With parsley sauce on it is simply glorious.

Jaguarana · 23/04/2019 22:20

The only good thing about another thread is that I can add to my mental list of posters with unpleasant views who I'll be avoiding in future. These threads always bring out the nasty types.

Mammylamb · 23/04/2019 22:21

Nope screwy! It was great hearing what other people really think. I’m a wee fatty (size 16) and was surprised that some people thought being anti fat was somehow an “unpopular opinion” as most online threads are very anti fat

Couples getting married aren’t entitled to do ‘whatever they want’ if it involves putting their guests to great inconvenience and expense - most people want to see their friends and family get married so would feel bad declining an invite and sometimes you can’t decline an invite without ruining the friendship. (I’m looking at you the couple who live in London and whose friends & family all live in London who decided to get married on a remote Scottish island 2 weeks before Christmas Hmm)

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 23/04/2019 22:22

Ahh of course because mn is so cordial, peaceful,no disagreement.ever
Back in the day it was all we done that already, don’t let door hit yer arse on way out, pray huns and pram scams
Now days it’s all oh go on then, say what annoys you.not like old days

Herland · 23/04/2019 22:34

People who think that the only way to be a good role model to your children is to be employed are a bit myopic.

Most people work, you are not that special and explaining employment is not that difficult.

BornInGlasgow · 23/04/2019 22:43

Anyone over the age of 15 putting snapchat filters / selfies / hospital updates / personal problems on social media are all complete and utter cunts.

KissingInTheRain · 23/04/2019 22:44

I now have a carefully researched database of all of the whingers who come on these threads and say ‘now I know who to avoid’.

It’s a necessary antidote to these sad fools and to their predecessors the fucking boring ‘spreadsheet’ compilers.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 23/04/2019 22:45

Explaining employment when you don’t do it is essentially historical recall or you leave it to other working women to model it as a behaviour and discuss jobs, course etc

Ghanagirl · 23/04/2019 22:48

Oh dear another opportunity to spew hate towards ethnic minorities, children, working class, young mothers, whilst extolling how much you love your dog on a parenting site🙄😔

HBStowe · 23/04/2019 23:05

Zoflora smells nice and is a useful cleaner

‘Changing his bum’ is a repulsive way to say ‘changing his nappy’ and I judge people who say it

90% of people who say ‘our little family’ when referring to excluding grandparents / turning down invitations / turning away friends are entitled twats who have failed to realise they aren’t the first people to ever have a baby

AntiSocialLOL · 23/04/2019 23:09

The right on, perpetually offended brigade have created a situation where free speech is under permanent attack in the UK, and furthermore gender critical feminists who want to be able to talk about trans issues but don’t defend other forms of free speech are hypocrites.

CoolCatKat · 23/04/2019 23:13

I always imagine posters who use lots of eff words and especially the c word are really rough.
Being a SAHM with school age kids is awesome.
Kids need their mums at home quite a bit in the early years.

Crunchymum · 23/04/2019 23:18

Second poster hits the nail on the head.

Maybe MNHQ needs a new subforum for unpopular opinions????? These threads very quickly descend into nastiness, prejudice and ignorance.

AntiSocialLOL · 23/04/2019 23:19

Maybe MNHQ needs a new subforum for unpopular opinions?????
It’s called AIBU

Herland · 23/04/2019 23:23

Explaining employment = "go to work, get paid".

Crunchymum · 23/04/2019 23:24

Are you making a funny @AntiSocialLOL ?

I can't tell.

KissingInTheRain · 23/04/2019 23:24

I really dislike the wretched nonsense of people describing themselves and their choices as being ‘crunchy’.

CoolCatKat · 23/04/2019 23:32

Love these threads!

Disquieted1 · 24/04/2019 00:29

Don't give up anything for an extra year drooling and soiling yourself in a nursing home.
