Sport including professional sport is entirely for the participant. I couldn’t give a stuff if the rules make it hard or impossible cause no one is paying me money to watch me do my hobby. There is no benefit at all in professional sports and I wish it all went away.

shiveringtimber · 24/04/2019 08:49

@squeekums Faith is entirely different from organised religion. Just saying.

Home77 · 24/04/2019 09:08

Often people who are sanctimonious, judgemental and generally 'better' than others...have issues and use this stuff to make themselves feel better.

BadLad · 24/04/2019 09:22

Olives are vile

Olives is an angram of So Vile

Pardonwhat · 24/04/2019 09:34

People that dislike Yorkshire puddings should be deported.
You’re not a housewife if you have to rely on benefits to top up your family income. You’re unemployed. (I say this as someone who has been in receipt of benefits in the past and isn’t judgemental either way of the situation).
I don’t give a shit if homeless people do decide to spend the money they receive on drinks or drugs. I also would to numb the misery.
I don’t believe we can waste water. Where’s it going? It’s staying in earths atmosphere and coming back down.

Home77 · 24/04/2019 10:20

Being a SAHM is a worthwhile job.

ApplesinmyPocket · 24/04/2019 10:38

Olives is an anagram of So Vile

Yes but just to put the other side of the story, it's also an anagram of I Loves

Wink
skippy67 · 24/04/2019 11:18

Being a SAHM isn't a job.
Mooncups are disgusting.
Cooked lamb in any form stinks like meat that has gone off.
Separate finances in relationships makes sense.

NoSauce · 24/04/2019 11:21

Oh and your pets aren't your children. If you love your pet as much as your child, then there's something wrong with you

I know my dog isn’t my child, I don’t remember giving birth to him. But yes I love him as much as I love my human family members. We all do actually.

Brightburn · 24/04/2019 12:54

@NoSauce

I don't believe that for a second. If your dog was mauling your child, you've tried to stop it but it won't, would you not kill it to save your child?

If so, you love your child more.
I don't believe you would kill your child to save your dog under any circumstances. The same can't be said the other way around.

Aquilla · 24/04/2019 13:02

A combination of allowing girls and inclusive policies have ruined the Scouts.

NoSauce · 24/04/2019 13:04

You’re confusing issues here Brightburn. I can still feel that I love my dog as much as my family members without putting their lives at risk in an imaginary situation.

Smotheroffive · 24/04/2019 13:06

We all love our pets, DC and pets are amazing, but they are different things and deserve better than to be treated the same.

Lamb is lush

Olives, also, dcat also agrees! (Actual olive addict! They have to be hidden!

I cannot believe in an entity who's omnipotent yet is only attributed the good that happens to people, and is nowhere to be seen when innocent DC, animals and people are murdered, mutilated (in the name of religion,or other), sexually assaulted, killed in floods, by other religions, etc.

There is something very wrong about people who make spreadsheets to build profiles of people posting on sm, its called stalking and you are sick, it furtive and stalkey (which is illegal for good reason).

Tw are actual men, and I have a lot of sympathy for those suffering as a result but nothing but hatred for the others, who are at the other end of the spectrum and actively despoiling the lives of the real sufferers and women and DC.

Women's services are betraying the women they no longer serve in supporting this nonsense, whilst appreciating some are blackmailed over it.

I refuse to believe that people all overly worry about the crisis in the world ecology, and don't acknowledge the millions of life that dies daily as a result, including DC , rip Ella Kissi-Debrah

Has anyone got the link for the previous unpopular opinion thread ?

badlydrawnperson · 24/04/2019 13:10

Spite is not the same thing as "people who I disagree with"

Smotheroffive · 24/04/2019 13:12

Technology is getting worse, it so frequently gets things badly wrong,, including simple text typing/preempting, and severely erodes peoples privacy; many are ignorant about the reality of this and refuse to believe their every action and spoken thought is being tracked. This thread Confused

'Plopped' right in the middle of the pet/DC debate there unintentionally as x-posted

RomanyQueen1 · 24/04/2019 13:22

Being a traditionalist as people on here think it's 1950's is brilliant.
Looking after the home and family is a ft job.

badlydrawnperson · 24/04/2019 13:26

Scientific research and even scientific consensus is not "the facts" - it's what we've figured out up until now. There is a long list of scientific "facts" that were discredited by subsequent discoveries.

havingtochangeusernameagain · 24/04/2019 13:27

Totally agree about olives (being vile)!
Along with tinned tuna. And baked beans.

Brightburn · 24/04/2019 13:27

@NoSauce

You've not answered the question, you've avoided it.

I love my cat but I would never ever choose her over my DD and if you had to choose between your child and your dog, you would pick your child.

Doesn't mean you don't love your dog. It just means you love your child more.

NoSauce · 24/04/2019 13:32

Human life comes first. That doesn’t mean I love my dog any less then the humans in my family.

Brightburn · 24/04/2019 13:37

Yes it does.

NoSauce · 24/04/2019 13:40

Are you in an argumentative mood or something? What’s it to you how I feel about my dog?

People love their animals as much as their own children whether you believe that or not.
