I'm finding it a bit of a chore to watch to be honest. It feels rushed - what on earth have they done with Jaime? Theoretically his actions in the last few episodes have been interesting but they needed to set it up. Have a few conversations about loyalty / honour whatever. He could have been going to stop Cersei then realised it was all too late - that would have been more interesting and tragic, and only taken a couple of lines of dialogue.

I strongly agree with this! It would have been easy to make the same conclusion more satisfying!

Yeah I agree with that scene, although maybe that was part of the writers justification of how Jamie started to realise he needed to go back to Cersei?

I’m rewatching from the beginning and have just watched the episode in season 2 where Daenerys goes to the house of the undying. She has a vision of the burnt out throne room and then turns away from the iron throne, instead going beyond the wall to Khal Drogo and her son. This seems to predict the ending. Do you think the warlocks were trying to protect her fro her fate?

No, they just want her for her dragons as they increase their power - the book sequence is more terrifying and more clear on this, but with several predictions (none of which I can remember).

Yes Jaime did say that. I personally don't think he was intending to kill Cersei for one minute when he returned. He loved her, sadly, and couldn't get her out of his head, nor the bad things he did for her.

I can't see the point of Bron killing Tyrion now, nobody will pay him for it. If he's watching from the sidelines and sees the carnage/works out barely anyone is left, he might as well go and live at High Garden anyway!

It could have been worse but it's pretty much in the same vein as the rest of it.

I loved the way they wrapped it up and all the endfings for the characters. I don't really understand what more people wanted to be honest.
