How much do people pay on rent each month

After the thread on how much is your mortgage, just wondered what everyone pays on rent each month and which area?

Some of the rent prices are so expensive ! How do you manage paying 1000+ ? 2 bed semi detached house with two double bedrooms, open plan kitchen/ living area, play room, decent size garden £760 a month in Suffolk

To the people asking how you pay such high rent - it can be scary but London wages in my sector are really high and there are a lot of jobs. But we would be pretty tight paying our 2k rent on one salary. A lot of people I know in London, rent is 50% of salary.
