Has anyone had a reading from a psychic medium (or like) and had something exactly came true? Not something vague but something specific almost word for word?

I had an informal reading once, it was a few years but it all happened as she said it would.

No, I got told I'd never have kids. I have one very much live and kicking ds and I'm pregnant with a second dc. It's all shite!

orangesun35 · 09/08/2019 23:01

Well with all due respect that’s your experience. It’s not all shite . My experience and option is very different. You had a shite psychic then .

KidLorneRoll · 09/08/2019 23:08

It's all shite. Anyone claiming to be psychic is either deluded or a con artist.

I had a reading on Thursday with a medium. She's very much in high demand and even has a ten month waiting list for an appointment.

The appointment lasted 13 minutes before she shut it down because in her words 'she wasn't getting to the meat and the bones of the issue' whatever that means. When walking out she made a sly dig saying 'it doesn't work if people come just to be nosy, there needs to be a real need'

I had recorded the session (with her permission) and I've listen to it a few times, and now I'm removed from the situation I can notice her little prompts and just how much guessing she got wrong before she hit on something right and tried to run with it.

She charges £45 for one 30 minute session... I got my money back Smile

My grandad, when he was young went to Yugoslavia. A local woman gave him and my nan a reading. She asked him if he had lost his watch (pretty easy to tell with the strap mark). She then described their house perfectly and 'took' them up the stairs, through the hallways onto more stairs and into their room. She then described where the missing watch was. My grandparents ran a residential home so it wasn't a standard 3 bed semi. When they came home the watch was where she said it was.

It's quite a good story when my nan tells it. I would hazard a guess that they have embellished this story over the years. If it is true it's a shame this women didn't get to claim the million pound prize for proving her abilities.

@orangesun35 so you just walked in off the street then?

Grimbles · 11/08/2019 19:12

@WindsorDuchess

in her words 'she wasn't getting to the meat and the bones of the issue' whatever that means

That means she wasnt able to dig up any information about you with the information that was given to her when you booked Wink

Loads of shit! My sister was told she was expecting by a medium or will be soon. She even took a pregnancy test to confirm. Tragically, my sister can't carry any children of her own, she found out many years after the meetings with this medium. Hated them with a passion ever since.

orangesun35 · 11/08/2019 19:50

No . I have had shite reading too. But this one psychic everything right .. as l said . She asks you no questions. She is rare breed of a medium psychic. In my opinion loads of shit psychics . I have had them myself . I booked her . Read her reviews. Simone .. in the area l said earlier in my post

A medium/psychic had a huge hand in killing my friend at university. I do believe that. Trigger warning - suicide
10 years ago, she met her fiancée on the course we were on. Madly in love, engaged within months. He starts getting headaches and other weird symptoms and within a year he's dead from a brain tumor. She went back a year studying as she had been by his side the while year.
She began seeing a psychic. This charlatan could see how vulnerable she was. She saw what a deep and dark place she was in. And she preyed on that. She must have taken so much money from her. 'He's waiting for you' 'He can't wait to see you' 'He's getting impatient' 'He wants to see you'
She walked out of her door and hung herself in the local park. She was 21. That 'psychic' has blood on her hands as far as I'm concerned. It took me many years to come to terms with the fact that my friend did what she wanted to do. But would she have been so eager to do it were it not for seeing the psychic? And honestly, hand on heart believing what she was being told, as many of you here do? I don't know. We'll never know. I'm crying writing this. Maybe she would have done anyway. Maybe her heart was just that irreparable. But the psychic preyed on her. She took her money and told her lies that pushed her towards the belief that she could see him very soon.

So no, OP, I don't believe in them.

I've had 2 absolutely shite readings. Talking actual made up bollocks.

But there was one reading where the medium told me something I've never ever said out loud to anyone else in the world. Ever. So I have no idea how he knew what he knew. Its unexplainable to me.
