To think the only viable Brexit option now is to revoke A50

Theresa Mays speech last night was a disgrace and will only have hardened MP’s positions - there’s no way her WA will get voted through, even if another vote is allowed.

There is no appetite for No Deal from anyone who understands its consequences so that just leaves revoke.

TM has been the master of saying one thing and doing the complete opposite.

I’m now convinced she’s going to revoke and resign.

Or is that just wishful thinking?

I thought you were a survivalist - you haven't read the manual;

Survivalists often acquire emergency medical and self-defence training, stockpile food and water, prepare to become self-sufficient, and build structures such as survival retreats or underground shelters that may help them survive a catastrophe.

bellinisurge · 25/03/2019 15:41

Just as all Leave voters are not the same, neither are all preppers.
Comical that you think I'm a survivalist. Where did you get that silly idea from?

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 25/03/2019 15:41

I dont think bellini has ever said she was a survivalist

Have we reached the made up bollocks part of the thread

I thought we got to that part posts and posts ago

Amuses me, that's all. Pretty sure you mentioned something about buying fish antibiotics. Grin

bellinisurge · 25/03/2019 15:52

That's a prepper thing. Fun that you have been stalking all my postsGrin. I also made some deprecating remarks about fish antibiotics intgat discussion but I think you are , as usual, focusing on the bits that fit your world view.

Haven't looked at the Prepper Board for months - funny how fish antibiotics stick in the mind. Grin

bellinisurge · 25/03/2019 16:36

I'm a prepper Clavinova. I've made no secret about that. It's not a Brexit thing it's a general prepper thing. If you want to find out even more about prepping I did an AMA ages ago.
Don't understand how that means I should support Leave. Or why I am not allowed to be sceptical about JRM. Or sceptical about other Brexiteers.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 25/03/2019 18:14

I watched a tv series about extreme preppers/survivalists

Its American though so they were pretty much all armed to the teeth

AutumnCrow · 25/03/2019 18:26

I have an axe.

bellinisurge · 25/03/2019 18:28

Yep@Rufusthebewilderedreindeer , there are US Preppers like that. And UK wannabes. And people who are more homestead-y types. Like me. Also popular in the US. And people who like bushcraft. But everyone assumes Preppers are armed redneck Trump supporters.
Prepping for Brexit has nothing to do with any of these things.

ClariceCliffe · 25/03/2019 18:37

Re the comments about 'elitist, posh boy' JRM and others.
Some of the directors of Open Britain (PV campaigners) would also warrant that description. Wonder why that's not on their website?

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 25/03/2019 18:39

Yeah i know bellini

You should see how many packs of uncle bens Mexican rice we have now

To be fair thats the limit of our prepping ( unless you include booze) but its a start!! (Ive become distracted so its probably the end as well)

bellinisurge · 25/03/2019 18:40

@ClariceCliffe , Cameron was also an elitist posh boy. As is Boris. I don't care what their opinions are or how they voted, I'm sick of this pathetic deference to them.

ClariceCliffe · 25/03/2019 18:51

Something we agree on!
Nothing much has changed from Victorian times when it comes to the HOC /HOL.

I've been reading a biography of Balfour, and one quote stood out.
"It doesn't matter which party is in office, the Conservatives are always in power."

JustAnotherPoster00 · 26/03/2019 07:54

the 'petition' is not the same as a valid scrutinised referendum or election anyone can create multiple emails and 'sign' the petition

Proof? There never seems to be when people parrot NF on this, please educate yourself on how ISP's work and by the sounds of it you also need to work on your critical thinking skills

That 80% ready turns into "have done all the can". Have you filled in any brexit supply chain readiness forms from different sources? Just completed one that said tick we have a forum for discussing and monitoring brexit issues; and tick we have made preparations to which client response was we are monitoring it, have taken the initial hmrc steps (got eori bumber) and when we know what the government is doing we'll react. I wouldn't have called that no deal ready but it satisfied the supply chain... and orobably went to create one of these statistics. Compare and contrast hmrc view on how many should have eori number to those that have applied... and that's the most basic step.

Come on, you can't expect Clav to have read beyond the headlines and the bit that confirms her bias
