Grey decor

AIBU to hope this trend dies a death soon?

I'm house hunting at the moment and every other house is grey. Grey walls, grey kitchens, grey bathrooms.... bloody depressing.

Can someone please tell me it's starting to go out of fashion? It's the avocado bathroom suite for our times...

Stick to white walls.

Never gone out of fashion so far and I have been painting houses for the last 40 years

Brown due to come back? Oh dear, I've had my bathroom painted in a chocolately matt brown and a deep purply red for eight year now. 75% of the walls, ceiling and half the floor is white, so I think I got away with it, but I was thinking it's due up for a colour change.

Mind you, I also had a sugared almond pink kitchen (well, the top half of the almost entirely tiled walls, at any rate) in 2004 when everybody else was still into yellow and blue...

Maybe I'm one of those trendsetters without realising it?

Mitzi Elle Decor have secret cameras in your house! Grin

If that's the case, @FiddleFaddleDingDong, the next go-to textures in design will be reminiscent of longhaired tortoiseshell cat fluff with the occasional furball on the kitchen lino.

Marine grey or military grey?

😁

It is a bit industrial for my taste. I much prefer the trend for deep dark blue and cream.
