I had a baby 3 months ago and she isn't sleeping on a night at all.
I'm lucky if I get 2 hours sleep.
I'm exhausted to a point I feel sick.
My friends wedding tomorrow and I'm bridesmaid but I know tonight I will be lucky to get even 3 hours sleep so I'm going to be in no fit state.
I feel so sick and exhausted with tiredness.
Aibu to tell her I can't go?
The wedding is at 1pm but she wants me over at 9am for makeup and hair.
I don't know what to do

I slept for 8 hours last night !!! Got up once at 3 for 20 mins and straight back to sleep.
I feel normal ..even if it's just a one night thing I feel normal ..I could literally do the conga around Morrison's

I've just read this and found myself grinning like a Cheshire cat. My youngest is doing her A'Levels and I can still remember that feeling as if it was yesterday. Grin

I love that 700 posts in we still have the OP being told to make her husband get up to the baby. Sure, don’t RTFT but surely you are self aware enough to realize that someone, possibly, just maybe, in the last 700 posts may have mentioned that?

@sillyandsally, I’m glad you had a good time and had some decent sleep! May it now continue.

@sillysmiles DH and I married in Ireland (Tullamore) and although we had to give the witnesses names at our booking appointment, on the day I asked the registrar if I could have my friend as my witness instead of the best man's wife. She was fine with it.

@sillyandsally, I am only reading this thread a week later. I was SO happy to hear that you went and actually had a good time that I cried! I cried more when I saw that you slept for 8 hours that night! I had PND and sleep deprivation tipped me over into a breakdown when my baby was 4 months old. I know how crippling that kind of tiredness is and how you must have been feeling. You're amazing! Flowers
(As an aside, after my breakdown we paid for the help of a sleep consultant. Best money we've ever spent).
