-Wow. You've got too much time on your hands if that's all you've got to worry about.

-LTB

  • You sound like hard work

  • You're over reacting [about absolutely anything].

  • wow. Just wow.

-this has been done before (as will this thread have been).

Anymore standard replies?
I see at least one on every single thread.
It's as though there has to be a Standard Arsehold reply.

Any others?

That's cruel, you wouldn't be this harsh if it was an adult.

(This is usually said about corporal punishment -okay- but also about stuff like taking toys away after your child has been immensely naughty. I am slightly concerned for those who can't pinpoint the difference between children and adults.)

Don't you have any friends or family who can (move mountains, give you money, look after your SN kid)?

"That's an awful lot of sugar."

When the OP has just described her DCs' daily diet, which would make my DC threaten me with Childline about, given the lack of anything sweet or tasty therein.

On the weight/dress size ones.

"If you're 5'4" and weight 14 stone, what dress size are you?"

MN: "Size 8"

Confused

OP: How much do you drink? I have one thimble of wine a week and think I have a problem.
MN: we don't drink anything at all. Ever. Especially if we're looking after the DCs. What if there was a fire/earthquake/plague of locusts?? Tut.
OP: oh gosh. Now I feel awful. And DH would be no help whatsoever because he has a whole can of lager a night.
MN: LTB.

If you can't confidently reverse into a space the size of an orange and whizz at 90mph down a country lane with grass growing down the middle, you shouldn't be driving.
But also: FGS learn to drive and stop making excuses, you lazy, entitled leech.

Yes at the drinking!! I don't drink (don't like the taste) but I certainly don't look down my nose at those who do. I'm the only person I know who isn't a regular drinker. The frothiness At the drinkers on MN is ridiculous.

I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be along in a minute...............

What's the point in even replying with that?

Op- asks a question about something very specific that maybe only a medical professional may know

MN- someone more knowledgeable...... aagghh

That's a ridiculous amount of carbs. (Usually about any carbs at all).

Milk / bread / other staple food item is so bad for you - why not give your kids steamed cabbage instead?
(Still not over the suggestion that instead of milk, which is an evil dairy product, posters could include calcium in their kids' diet by giving them rhubarb instead)

No matter how vile the behaviour being described, at least one person will ask 'is he depressed or have anxiety or MH issues or has undiagnosed ADHD, ditto OCD etc?

After being on here I sometimes wonder if there's anyone left in the country who suffers from none of the above. Sometimes people don't have excuses, they are just arseholes.
