Mine is Frosties with cream.

I've discovered in the last two days that if you can't wait for them to defrost, chocolate brownies are perfectly palatable straight from the freezer.

Leave it a couple of minutes so they're not so cold they jangle your teeth, but then the squidgy middle bit has a lovely fudgey texture.

@FreezerBird your name is very apt then! The thought of eating that gives me the shivers!

sweet chilli sensations dipped in red pepper hummus

findingmyfeet12 · 21/02/2019 18:42

A pp said crisps dipped in Nutella - why didn't I think of that? I love eating alternate bites of crisps and milk chocolate.

I'm so going to try that.

Dipping bread in the hot fat left over from grilling bacon. This is my absolute fave & my DH goes mad when I do it!

Chocolate digestive biscuits spread with laughing cow cheese triangle

Two slices of toast with lots of butter then one spread with marmalade & the other with marmite - sandwich together & munch away.

Toast with dripping & black pepper. Sometimes I add marmite too (so the dripping is basically the butter!!)

NarcissistMum · 21/02/2019 19:20

In NY I bought a tub of chocolate covered salted crinkle crisps. They were totally sealed in the chocolate so were still crunchy. They were gorgeous. Probably quite easy to make at home...

Binkybix · 21/02/2019 21:56

Lots of my favourites here and some new ones to try :)

One from me: Spanish omelette sandwich with loads of mayonaise. Carb tastic!!

cricketmum84 · 22/02/2019 05:57

I've been a bit "ugh" at the crisps and chocolate thing... but then I remembered that my favourite treat is chocolate covered pretzels so it's kinda the same isn't it! Looks like I'm trying crisps and chocolate tonight 😂

MintyCedric · 22/02/2019 09:14

Salted roasted almonds dipped in melted dark chocolate and left to chill....amazing!

MintyCedric · 22/02/2019 09:25

Just thought of another one...if I do roast lamb I make extra gravy, stir in a couple of teaspoons of mint sauce and drink.it while I'm washing up.

Mentioned that and the gravy granules in front of first aid trainer at work the other day and he suggested I get checked out for sodium deficiency Blush!

MunchyMunchkin · 22/02/2019 15:01

Frying a piece of bread in the bacon fat left in the frying pan. Food of the gods but DH (who will eat anything) always pulls a face at me.

formerbabe · 23/02/2019 09:24

I buy frozen dumplings for casseroles. Sometimes I take one out, stick it in the microwave until defrosted and warm then cut in half and spread with butter....honestly, it's incredible!

lisasimpsonssaxophone · 23/02/2019 10:10

MintyCedric I recently discovered the chocolate covered almonds in Pret, they’re salted too! Heavenly!

Mmmmbrekkie · 23/02/2019 15:47

I forgot... another one of mine
Big plate of steamed Brussels sprouts. Generous splashes of soy sauce and a huge squeeze of wasabi on the side to dip the sprouts in.

Mouth watering as I think about it

findingmyfeet12 · 23/02/2019 15:51

I'm going to try sprouts with soy sauce and wasabi. Sounds really good.

Mmmmbrekkie · 23/02/2019 16:05

I’m cooking for tonight as solo dinner. It’s so good.

Steamed broccoli with sweet chill sauce is another beauty

Crayolaaa · 23/02/2019 16:09

this thread is making me so hungry

PoohBearsHole · 23/02/2019 21:29

Dh and I were talking earlier and both used to love squishy white bread sandwiches filled only with salad cream 🐷

Aroundtheworldandback · 23/02/2019 22:32

Family pack M&S salt & vinegar with tzatziki dip. Fruit and nut. Several flakes.

HeronLanyon · 23/02/2019 22:50

Peanut butter & dairylea on extra thick white bread.

Cooking chocolate uncooked

Scotch pie with peas & cheddar on toast.

Delicious

HeronLanyon · 23/02/2019 23:54

Now I adore o butter and even more so dairylea but I have never even considered that combo. I think because I love dairylea so ridiculously that I would fear the pb would obliterate its taste and sublety only buy dl about twice a year I may need to try this . . .

Lizsul · 24/02/2019 18:42

Stotyourhavering64
Omg Butterscotch angel delight, I eat the whole packet myself, no one usually likes this flavour so it’s nice to know there are other fans out there.

ZeldaPrincessOfHyrule · 24/02/2019 18:49

Jam doughnut, split in half, buttered.
Heaven!

missmouse101 · 24/02/2019 18:55

Very fresh white sliced bread with thick butter and golden syrup. Or, if I fancy something savoury, I cook some plain spaghetti, then stir a knob of butter, salt and pepper and sprinkle with grated cheddar. Yum!
