To not be happy with my tummy tuck ??

DizzyBeeme · 18/02/2019 18:15

So...I had a full tummy tuck with muscle repair and Lipo to my love handles in Istanbul.. 6 months in and even though my huge apron of skin has gone it's not at all what I thought it would be like. I still have a huge upper abdomen as apparently they could not do Lipo to this area.

I'm thinking of going back to have Lipo done to my upper abdomen and vaser Lipo to get my figure looking better.

Look at.my pics and let me know what you think. The first 2 pics are before and after and the final pic is from the side.

Some really rude comments on here, I wonder if these people would be so candid in real life and if they are perfect looking themselves... You really don't need surgery, just be healthy and happy which I know is easier said than done. Please don't be hard on yourself, sounds like you've been through a lot Thanksxx

WinterfellWench · 18/02/2019 21:50

People need to bore off with the 'people are being horrible and nasty' accusations on here. People aren't being nasty on here......they are being either nice, or just honest.

No-one has said anything nasty. If so, why have the posts not been deleted?

People need to get a grip. The OP asked for opinions, and she got them. It doesn't look great, and she should have lost at least another 2 stone before having the tummy tuck. That's just how it is, and I think the people saying 'you look lovely' are just telling the OP what she wants to hear, which is as bad as being totally honest and telling her she should have lost more weight first, and they would have expected better for that money. It looks better than it did before, but I feel she could have achieved the look she has got with a few months of dieting.

I have seen a lot worse, but it doesn't look great. I would be pissed off at paying mid 4 figures and getting that result. I am also curious as to why people are saying the OP is so pretty. There is no picture of her face, so how do they know? Confused

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 18/02/2019 21:50

Now then now then
Hippy don’t post as I need to be good and see good for my news years reso Grin

DizzyBeeme · 18/02/2019 21:54

WinterfellWench I'm on page 3 with my pretty face...or not so pretty depending on what you think lol x I'm quite happy to carry on with my exercise and diet routine and see how I look once I reach my target weight.

Guess we all just have this feeling...

No the OP posted a photo with her full body (dressed) and face in, looking lovely. Might have been deleted now- sensible if so.

WinterfellWench · 18/02/2019 21:54

Oh I will go look... at pg 3!

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 18/02/2019 21:55

No don’t- I’d rather you believed I had magical abilities to assess someone’s facial attractiveness by looking at a picture of their surgical scars

KissHerYouBrilliantFool · 18/02/2019 21:57

OP, a friend did the Cambridge diet and lost 4 stone pretty quickly, so hopefully you'll see results soon

WinterfellWench · 18/02/2019 21:58

@DizzyBeeme

Well now I have seen the pic on page 3. Yes you are indeed very pretty. Grin And yeah you look good with the clothes on.

But I am just being honest (and you did say you weren't happy with the tuck yourself.)

It looks BETTER than before, (the 'curtain' has pretty much gone,) but I don't think it looks as good as it should do, and maybe you should have lost more weight first?

Maybe if you try to diet now (and exercise too,) it may look more like you wanted.???

DizzyBeeme · 18/02/2019 22:00

I'm on the Cambridge diet and go to the gym everyday for an hour. Im aiming to lpse a strady 2.5 llbs per week and hopefully I will look better. If not I'm going to get some vaser Lipo from a UK based surgeon.

I bet you feel a bit silly now, Winter Smile

AnyFucker · 18/02/2019 22:02

And for the record, I am not of the opinion that all women are "gorgeous" no matter what they look like.

I don't give empty compliments

KissHerYouBrilliantFool · 18/02/2019 22:04

I think even after just one more stone you'll notice a huge difference, OP! I am a similar height to you (5ft 3) and I noticed as soon as I hit 10 stones and under there was a real difference in the flatness of my tummy.

tinkerbellla · 18/02/2019 22:06

My fitness pal is annoying but really effective at tracking eating and exercise if you want to keep an eye on what's going in and out. Sometimes it's an absolute shocker. Good luck and ignore the negativity. I bet you look better than all of them Grin.

Wakk · 18/02/2019 22:11

Come on Hippy.

Post it already.

WinterfellWench · 18/02/2019 22:14

@Anyfucker

I'm not talking to you. I was talking to the OP. So bore off.

I also don't give a fuck if you don't give what you class as 'empty compliments.' It will be a cold day in hell before I give a shit what a random nobody like you thinks.

Smile
stopfuckingshoutingatme · 18/02/2019 22:15

OP do see GP and ask for their opinion or
Try and get a nice practical nurse pacticioner who knows about women’s health

It’s worth thinking about core exercise and getting strength back . I got back pain after abdo surgery as the back compensated for the weakened tissue ( I was also a bit overweight )
Anyway surgery’s done so try and move forward and they did get some of it off Flowers

TheDarkPassenger · 18/02/2019 22:19

You look fantastic. The tummy tuck isn’t perfect but I think once you lose the extra weight you should be fine. I’m no expert though.
FWIW I’m 5’2 8 stone and between an 8 and a 10 dress size. Everyone’s different. When I was 12 stone I was a size 18. Although i don’t like tight clothes so I’m probably up one, it’s all about how you like to wear your clothes as well as your body so I think everyone needs to calm down a bit telling you what size you are!

ohtheholidays · 18/02/2019 22:56

OP Please go and see your GP asap.

Just for the fact alone that you can feel something and the top half of your stomach does look really bloated compared to the rest of your body and being as your a parent and on your own(from what you've said)your health is the most important thing!

DizzyBeeme · 18/02/2019 23:11

Thank you all. I really value all your input and appreciate every single advice and post xx

OP posts:
WinterfellWench · 18/02/2019 23:29

That's OK @DizzyBeeme .

Hope it gets sorted, and you are happy with yourself eventually.

As I said (from when I first posted,) it looks better, but not great, and I think you should have lost 2 stone or so first. But as I said, you may be able to diet and exercise to achieve it anyway after having the surgery. As a pp said, maybe consult a doctor?

And I did mean what I said about you being pretty. Ignore the shit stirrer who was saying it was an empty compliment. I don't give empty compliments; I give honest opinions when they are asked for and genuine compliments when they are deserved or called-for ...

Clearly that poster is judging me by her own standards.

Good job I don't give a fuck what some random nobody thinks......

Take care of yourself. I would ask for this thread to be deleted though, as it is verrrry identifying!!!

I think you should have a consultation with a surgeon in the UK and see what they recommend. Even if it means you do the corrective surgery elsewhere x not the same surgeon as before though.

SoftPlant · 19/02/2019 05:16

Well I think it looks fantastic OP. Before you had a large apron, and now you don't. It's a huge difference some women could only dream of.

The people saying they don't see a difference are mad in my opinion.

That being said, I don't believe that repeated cosmetic procedures to chase an idea of "perfect" is healthy at all. You're pretty, quite petit, and get to live the rest of your life without the apron. I'd focus on loving yourself and your mental health now. In real life so few women have a flat toned stomach. Losing the apron is a huge result.

Aridane · 19/02/2019 06:47

Yes, the apron has certainly gone!
