To not be happy with my tummy tuck ??

DizzyBeeme · 18/02/2019 18:15

So...I had a full tummy tuck with muscle repair and Lipo to my love handles in Istanbul.. 6 months in and even though my huge apron of skin has gone it's not at all what I thought it would be like. I still have a huge upper abdomen as apparently they could not do Lipo to this area.

I'm thinking of going back to have Lipo done to my upper abdomen and vaser Lipo to get my figure looking better.

Look at.my pics and let me know what you think. The first 2 pics are before and after and the final pic is from the side.

Are you doing the complete meal replacement diet? It’s about 600cals a day is t it? I’m not sure you’re supposed to exercise much on it.

Your stomach looks like you need to go to a doctor, it’s strange it’s so bloated (I don’t mean that in a bad way).

BusySnipingOnCallOfDuty · 18/02/2019 19:22

Definitely sounds like a hernia and its something you would want treated because you dont want to make it worse and it might affect what you are trying to achieve. You look lovely, but I know how it feels when part of you is so very different to the rest

Tennesseewhiskey · 18/02/2019 19:22

Sorry a personal trainer shouldn't be recommending

alwaysreadthelabel · 18/02/2019 19:22

All those saying she cant be a size 10 at nearly 11 stone. I was a size 8 at 10st4lbs and a 10 at 11st exactly. I'm 5"11 and have a big frame. So it can be done.

Anyway..... I think you had to done way too early and shouldn't of gone to a dodgy surgeon sorry! You will probably need it all doing again so will end up forking out even more money. Save up and pay to have it done in this country.

greendale17 · 18/02/2019 19:22

Should of lost weight first then had the tummy tuck.

You’ve wasted your money

dinkydolphin · 18/02/2019 19:26

OP I know you in RL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hellolittlesunshinexxx · 18/02/2019 19:26

I think you're really lovely. I hope you get to be where you feel great with exercise and healthy eating x

AnyFucker · 18/02/2019 19:26

op you are beautiful already

Please stop messing about with your body now. There is no need. Be proud of it !

What does your partner say?

PresentImperfect · 18/02/2019 19:27

You're very pretty. Please don't have surgery somewhere like Turkey and potentially have bad complications or worse and leave your children motherless.

It's hard, I have a horrible stomach after 3 children and not enough discipline. 2019 is the year it will disappear though Grin

DizzyBeeme · 18/02/2019 19:28

Aaah dinkydolphin you have to pm now lol. I've just plastered my fat lumpy pics for the entire world to see lol Confused

LuckyAmy1986 · 18/02/2019 19:28

Yes I agree with PPs, you are beautiful, I also think you look like a size 10! I hope you get this sorted where you feel comfortable in yourself, because you should.

Readytorewind · 18/02/2019 19:31

This thread has been an eye opener. I had anorexia and bulimia and the level of detail, questioning and dissecting her body some of you have gone into with the OP reminds me of ana forums.

OP, you seem fixated on weight, dress sizes and obviously the aesthetic of your body. Please don't listen to a bunch of faceless strangers in the internet measuring your worth by your collection of skin and fat around your bones. If you feel unhealthy address that. See a GP and ask them for a physiological plan to improve your health. Start with the distended abdomen, there may be an underlying reason for it.

Readytorewind · 18/02/2019 19:32

AF thank fuck for the voice of reason.

DizzyBeeme · 18/02/2019 19:33

I promise I'm not fixated on dress size or weight at all..I just want a more toned tummy and to feel better about my body x

Readytorewind · 18/02/2019 19:35

I understand that OP. I get it completely. But your body will fail you if you keep disrupting it with surgery and diets.

LuckyLou7 · 18/02/2019 19:41

Please don't put identifying photos on a website accessed by millions!

Go and see your GP and ask for advice. Your distended abdomen is disconcerting.

slipperywhensparticus · 18/02/2019 19:41

Ahh readytorewind you got me I am bulimic Blush

sagradafamiliar · 18/02/2019 19:41

Never mind what your partner says, or any of us for that matter.
You look lovely and I can see that compared to the before photo, you've had a good result as far as the 'overhang' goes. Personally I haven't seen a scar that high up before, it would usually be hidden under the knicker line. Whether you get that revised or not is down to you but I think the priority is ruling out a hernia and keeping yourself well as you have been doing.
Good on you for posting and taking the comments in good spirit.

Bishalisha · 18/02/2019 19:44

OP I’m 5’1 and am a tiny size 8 at 7.5 stone. When I was 9.5 stone I was a large 14. Are you American?

Passing4Human · 18/02/2019 19:44

Please go to your doc OP about the hard feeling in your stomach you speak about. Worries me and best just to get checked over.

bsc · 18/02/2019 19:44

Is that scar on your tummy from the tummy tuck? Or is it from previous surgery? (I know nothing about tummy tucks- do they cut you?)
It does look as though something is pushing the skin out behind the scar, but it looks too domed to be a hernia?

SirVixofVixHall · 18/02/2019 19:46

You are beautiful op! I am another small boned person who has put weight on after babies. I was a size 6, now I am a generous 12. At a size ten I was two stone over my pre baby weight, so I sympathise.
I would get your tummy checked properly to make sure that the repair has been done well. You may have issues higher up. You do look lovely though, regardless !

AlexaAmbidextra · 18/02/2019 19:47

OP, it’s such a shame you haven’t got the result you were expecting. 2.5k is very cheap for this type of surgery and I’m afraid you get what you pay for. I would always advise against cosmetic surgery with anyone other than a properly trained UK based plastic surgeon. A surgeon who holds or has held a consultant post within the NHS and undertakes serious reconstructive and burns work.

Unfortunately it will be almost impossible to get this rectified by the surgeon who undertook it. Tummy tucks are for when you’ve lost all your excess weight and have an apron which no amount of dieting will shift. Your surgeon has been dishonest in agreeing to operate while you had excess weight still to lose.

I can only suggest you have an initial consultation with a reputable surgeon here and see what he/she suggests.

AnyFucker · 18/02/2019 19:48

I was hoping that op's partner was agreeing with us that op is gorgeous already

obviouslymarvellous · 18/02/2019 19:50

Size 10 HmmHmmHmm Honestly??????! Sorry but the surgery looks like a bad job. Why do people do this go abroad have surgery that goes wrong then moan about it?
