To not be happy with my tummy tuck ??

DizzyBeeme · 18/02/2019 18:15

So...I had a full tummy tuck with muscle repair and Lipo to my love handles in Istanbul.. 6 months in and even though my huge apron of skin has gone it's not at all what I thought it would be like. I still have a huge upper abdomen as apparently they could not do Lipo to this area.

I'm thinking of going back to have Lipo done to my upper abdomen and vaser Lipo to get my figure looking better.

Look at.my pics and let me know what you think. The first 2 pics are before and after and the final pic is from the side.

op just want to say i get you on the weight/height thing

im 5ft 4 and only weigh 10st 4 BUT im very small framed and used to weight 7st 4 up until my 30s. even then i only put on another stone and was fine at 8st 5 but now im 10st 4 even though im not overweight i carry loads of fat around my middle and it pisses me off!
im a size 12 - 14 though.
if i could slim to 8st7 id be a 10 - 12.
i work shifts and nights and my metabolism is fucked i think . i can eat very very little but i drink too much wine and i know i dont excercise enought
(started to remedy that tonight with a 25 min run and 20 mins of kettle bell swings with a 16kg weight!)

my friend at work has lost 5 stone and is losing the last bit by paying a personal trainer (its a lot lot less than a tummy tuck) and my god she has abs! she looks incredible. he works her really hard, she does 2 sessions per week and its about 100 squats and lunges with weights and homework in between but she posted a pic of her before and afters and i cannot believe it.....she has a beautiful little toned tummy with real muscle tone and thats after weeks.

why not try that? im considering it.

TaimaandRanyasBestFriend · 18/02/2019 19:03

Yeah, kmc, I have a couple of friends who had it for severe diastisis rectae that didn't respond to physio enough and left them in agony in their back.

PersonaNonGarter · 18/02/2019 19:03

OP, that phot is identifying. Are you sure you want everyone to know? I would report it and ask for the photo to be removed

amusedbush · 18/02/2019 19:04

I really do find it hard to believe you're a size 10 at nearly 11st. I'm 9.5st and I'm a 10/12. If you were a size 10 you wouldn't need to lose 3st.

In 2017 I was a a size 12 at 12 stone and 5' 5. It wasn't just vanity sizing either, I was a 12 in every shop I went to (Topshop, New Look, River Island, ASOS, Tesco, Zara, Joy). I was exercising loads so I was toned and fit, apparently just dense.

Now I'm a size 18 thanks to crippling stress and binge eating disorder Sad

Foodylicious · 18/02/2019 19:04

Also, do get your gp to check you out!

hellenbackagen · 18/02/2019 19:04
  • 6 weeks that should say....
DizzyBeeme · 18/02/2019 19:05

Thanks for all your comments ladies. I'm going to focus on my diet and exercise and hopefully I will look better that way.

OP you look beautiful and have a lovely figure.

I’m sorry your tummy tuck has been so disappointing. If I were you I’d lose the rest of the weight you’re aiming for and then see a few different surgeons to see what remedial surgery they’d suggest and what their expected results would be.

Notwiththeseknees · 18/02/2019 19:06

God there are some unkind bitches on here tonight. You do look like a size 10 dressed and a bloody 10/10 at that.
I'm sorry for the loss of your babies and hope you get the figure you want, however you get it Thanks

Springwalk · 18/02/2019 19:07

I am no doctor but I think you need to get your tummy looked at. You need an investigation. I accept you have had 7 pregnancies, but you are exercising every day. Good luck op and look after yourself.

DizzyBeeme · 18/02/2019 19:08

Thank you stinkytoe and notwitheseknees you are so kind xx

There’s no point comparing weights, we all carry weight so differently. I’m 11 stone 5ft 4 and size 10-12 with a flat stomach. I had a belly like the ops when I was 15 stone.

slipperywhensparticus · 18/02/2019 19:10

Sorry worra I LOOK drastically underweight if I was eight stone it's my body structure I look like a lollipop I need to hover around the nine stone mark to look like...me?

slipperywhensparticus · 18/02/2019 19:11

Anyway my weight is irrelevant OP I think you need to see your gp about the poking sensation in my inexperience unprofessional opinion it doesn't sound normal Flowers

Springwalk · 18/02/2019 19:12

Love your photo update! You look gorgeous. Be happy as you are op Star

ShadowHuntress · 18/02/2019 19:13

You look lovely op and I get what you mean about your dress size. I don’t carry much weight in my upper body, it all goes on my hips and butt. I can be a size 10 on top and a size 16 bottom. You really don’t have much weight to lose anywhere else, just your stomach. If you’re exercising every day and losing weight everywhere but your belly, you may want to get checked out in case something else is going on

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 18/02/2019 19:13

OP you’re so pretty! You look lovely in that picture.

I think the surgeon might have said to wait a bit longer if he hadn’t wanted your cash, and I think diet/exercise is your friend. What exercise do you do at the moment? We might be able to make some suggestions?

merrybloomizoothief · 18/02/2019 19:14

i really think you need to go and see the gp because you look like you might have ovary issues op. Especially if your tummy is very hard.

Margot33 · 18/02/2019 19:15

I think you look great now. Just keep going to the gym and eating well.

DizzyBeeme · 18/02/2019 19:15

Well I've just started the Cambridge diet and when I go to the gym I spend 30 mins walking /running on the treadmill and then do another 30 mins of weights. A personal trainer helped me devise the exercises I need to do and I go daily.

OP posts:
Namechangeforthiscancershit · 18/02/2019 19:17

That sounds like a good balance. A lot of trainers say not to go 7 days a week though- make sure you get a rest day.

CuckooCuckooClock · 18/02/2019 19:17

You look really lovely in the last picture op. Definitely like a size 10 to me. I'm 5'3 and size 10 and I look a similar size to you (but I also would like a flatter tummy - the price we pay for out beautiful babies)

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 18/02/2019 19:17

I don’t know anything about the Cambridge diet but I’m no diet guru anyway!

Fiddie · 18/02/2019 19:19

You look lovely OP x

Tennesseewhiskey · 18/02/2019 19:22

DizzyBeeme a personal trainer should be recommending 7 day workouts. One should be a rest day with some gentle activity

Weights should be held off, if you are worried about your stomach and it's bloating. Weights definitely shouldn't be done 7 days a week. Rest is important to build the muscle.

Also isn't Cambridge one of these 600kcal a day diets? I thought you shouldn't be doing lots of exercise on it.
