Celery.

The tiniest slice ruins any meal. AIBU?

Do you have another suggestion?

Raisins/ sultanas in savoury meals (just why?!)

I also hate fruit pips in my mocktail, they were literally unavoidable (ended up having to spit them out in to a shot glass- that was a joy I can tell you !) Envy (not envy !)

Aaaand the mother of all evils, fruit peel in sorbet, seriously who eats the peel ???

LakieLady · 09/02/2019 19:39

Bloody hell, I thought I was a bit of a fussy eater, but I like all of the above.

Kidneys, aka piss filters. If I wanted to ingest something that tastes like piss, I could probably earn a decent living in the seedier corners of the internet.

BreconBeBuggered · 09/02/2019 19:39

Don't mind the taste of rosemary, but fuuuck, don't put it on the bloody food whole. For the life of me I can't understand why anyone would want spiky bits in their dinner.
I'd put mushrooms, garlic, chillies and coriander in everything if I had my way. Don't come round to mine for dinner.

threeicklepickles · 09/02/2019 19:39

Coconut. Vile stuff, makes your teeth squeak.
Sweet corn, even the smell of it makes me gag.

SilverBirchWithout · 09/02/2019 19:42

I remember reading somewhere that there is a proper scientific reason why certain people cannot tolerate coriander and others love it.
I think people’s taste buds actually do taste something different.

TrixieFranklin · 09/02/2019 19:42

Dried fruit
Large bits of cooked onions
Peppers
Sweet corn mixed into things (like tuna) it's fine on it's own
Cucumber if it's left for more than 10 mins and starts to make other things soggy and taste like slimey cucumber

NameyMcNameChange1 · 09/02/2019 19:42

Goats cheese. It’s horrific.

dontcallmelen · 09/02/2019 19:43

Cream/milk
Mayonnaise
Avocado
Aubergine
Mashed potatoes
Custard
All the work of the devil & should be outlawed.

GabsAlot · 09/02/2019 19:43

Notcontent · 09/02/2019 19:44

I love most of the things mentioned but they need to be used in the right context.

I do hate margarine and cheap, processed mayo

GabsAlot · 09/02/2019 19:45

dh*

so annoyed i dont even know what i type

zebakrheum · 09/02/2019 19:45

Cinnamon. It's everywhere lately, and I just don't like it at all.

Parmesan. Smells of vomit.

SilverBirchWithout · 09/02/2019 19:45

Tarragon for me too.
Sometimes in restaurants I struggle to find a main course, because they either have rosemary or tarragon. And I don’t consider myself a fussy eater and can eat most things apart from offal or these 2 herbs.

GabsAlot · 09/02/2019 19:46

yes bloody dried fruit whats that about

Janethevirgo · 09/02/2019 19:46

Cress , mushrooms, raisins
Cold sweet corn, don’t mind it hot as an accompaniment but not cold mixed through tuna etc

Tidderbus · 09/02/2019 19:47

Cheese Envy all types makes me feel ill thinking about it

Thecreosotekid · 09/02/2019 19:47

Goats cheese makes me want to throw up. I can’t bear the smell let alone the taste. It’s like licking a goat. Bleugh.

Green peppers. Bitter and pointless.

Soft boiled or poached egg. Like biting into life itself.

Fresh chilli pepper. I don’t want numb lips or tongue unless I’m about to have dental work done.

Everything else I’m ok with.

babypsmum · 09/02/2019 19:47
