Celery.

The tiniest slice ruins any meal. AIBU?

Do you have another suggestion?

theonetowalkinthesun · 09/02/2019 19:15

I used to always think courgettes contaminated everything they were in!!!! Ruin the whole dish!

BayandBlonde · 09/02/2019 19:15

Raisins.

Yes by themselves, maybe, but as part of a dish is just yuk Envy

notonmynelly · 09/02/2019 19:16

Parsley. Can taste it a mile off bleurgh. Can eat coriander by the handful though!

Cakeandmarshmallows · 09/02/2019 19:19

Fresh coriander!!! Totally ruins a dish and can be spotted a mile off!

cardibach · 09/02/2019 19:19

I like all the things listed here except coriander lead and parsley. Those people are right. I also hate dill.

onlyhereforthefood · 09/02/2019 19:19

Lemon in anything

Fruit in savoury food!

cardibach · 09/02/2019 19:19

Greyhound22 · 09/02/2019 19:19

Coriander or parsley.

milienhaus · 09/02/2019 19:21

Thatsalovelycuppatea · 09/02/2019 19:21

Coriander if it's on the soup menu I'm like no thanks got jacket potatoes? It's got such a disgusting taste!

AngelaStorm73 · 09/02/2019 19:23

Margarine

Just use butter FFS

NashvilleQueen · 09/02/2019 19:23

I like everything listed thus far in some form or another. I actively love celery, mushrooms, garlic, onions and anchovies.

Goats cheese for me tho. Hate the smell of it. Hate the taste of it.

NashvilleQueen · 09/02/2019 19:24

Coriander is in a separate category in the sense that it has a totally different taste to some people that others. So I don’t get the soapy taste and so like it but others do.

flameycakes · 09/02/2019 19:25

Edamame beans, yuk yuk x

OnTheHop · 09/02/2019 19:25

Goats cheese. The smell of it near other food, a contaminated cheese knife.... I had to forgo some gorgeous vignette in a cheeseboard recently because some other vandal guest had used the knife for goaty musty vomitty bleughness.

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 09/02/2019 19:25

Coriander.
Too much heat/chillies.
Raw chunky onions in a salad. (I don’t mind them if they are sliced super thinly)
Gluten (gluten sensitive)
Egg (allergic)
Nuts (allergic)

theworldistoosmall · 09/02/2019 19:25

Avocado and anchovies. Those two can fuck right off.

Peachyk · 09/02/2019 19:26

Cucumber. It tastes like a mouthful of water that's been left on the windowsill for a few weeks. Bitter mildew 🤢

MorningsEleven · 09/02/2019 19:26

Mushrooms, coriander and twatting goats cheese.

PooleySpooley · 09/02/2019 19:26

Coriander 🤢

AdaColeman · 09/02/2019 19:26

Chorizo ~ it seems to be in everything these days.

Coriander ~ tastes of shampoo.

Chilli ~ again, seems to be everything, I had Ardennes pâté recently that had chilli sprinkled over it, just totally WRONG!

Sweetcorn ~ alright as a cob with lashings of butter, but why why why put it in tuna?

Mustard & cress ~ this has no place ever in an egg mayonnaise sandwich!

KitsandCaboodles · 09/02/2019 19:26

Tomatoes. I love tomato based sauces but tomato pieces are revolting.

Raisins and other dried fruit. They are the devil's droppings.

Saffron. It tastes like bleach.

Parmesan. It tastes like vomit.

Tarragon, Thai basil and other aniseed tasting herbs. I love dill though.

Walnuts. I love all other nuts but walnuts are disgusting. They taste the way paint smells.
